> 3 dayI purchased this SSD as a back-up drive for my computer. It is so much smaller, faster & more portable than a hard drive I ordered a second one to use with my iPad Pro - works great. Although I have not used the non Extreme Pro SSD it is my understanding that if you need the speed the extra cost for the Extreme Pro unit is worth the extra cost. I am extremely happy with both of mine.

Greater than one weekI returned the first one. The second is glitchy. SanDisk support was quick to pin the blame on Windows 10, but ultimately I found out that the operating system was not the problem. I bought this because it was made by SanDisk. I no longer hold SanDisk in high regard.

> 3 dayWhen paired with a Thunderbolt 3 / USB-C (3.1) port, this drive shines. IF YOU ARE A MAC USER—be sure to format the drive using Disk Utility before you use the drive. Otherwise, youll have issues mounting the drive on your desktop. Youll get much more for your money this way instead of buying a Lacie or G drive.
