> 3 dayI was surprised with how small and light it was. It’s perfect for someone like me, who usually carry an external hard drive while traveling. The transfer speed is pretty awesome to me. I recommend this drive!

> 3 dayWorks like a charm. Great value and speed for holding large Virtual Instrument (VST) files. Important to remember that SSDs last forever when it comes to reading data. Their lifespan is based on how much writing of data is done, which makes them ideal for VST library since you read them and hardly ever have need to writing them once they are stored on the SSD.

> 3 dayThis SanDisk is high quality, They put rubber around the casing from getting dinged, chipped and bumped. I have it attached to my Alienware laptop and I forgot it was there for a long while. I booted it up and it worksfine as pie. Steam games works flawlessly not one frame hick up and boots fast. I have to say this is the greatest thing since sliced bread

Greater than one weekI own a MacBook Pro with the 256GB SSD built in (I know that I should have bought a bigger SSD) and with photography and video work I quickly run out of HD space so the search for a external HD began.

> 3 dayThis is what I need. The data transfer is fast; fast enough to allow me to run my pictures app off of this disc rather than keeping it on my computer hard drive. In fact once I get another such drive to doubly back up my photos, Ill be taking my pictures off of hard drive.

Greater than one weekFive stars for the 1050MB/s version. The cheaper 550MB/s version is slightly smaller in size (but not storage capacity); however, the 1050Mb/s model has slightly better cables and it doesn’t run constantly hot. If you want to leave the device plugged into your computer for long periods of time, get the 1050Mb/s model as it’s faster and cooler in operation. The 550Mb/s version stays hot and seems to draw on battery power even when the laptop itself is turned off.

> 3 dayI bought this in an act of faith that this would work for the replacement of the small 65 Gb that came with the Tesla. It works like a treat. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayIf I would have know this had drivers installed from 2006 I would have never bought this item. New drivers are also not supported by Western Digital which voids any warranty they offer if you update divers for Windows 10. This is disappointing.
