> 3 dayI purchased this SSD as a back-up drive for my computer. It is so much smaller, faster & more portable than a hard drive I ordered a second one to use with my iPad Pro - works great. Although I have not used the non Extreme Pro SSD it is my understanding that if you need the speed the extra cost for the Extreme Pro unit is worth the extra cost. I am extremely happy with both of mine.

> 3 dayFirst of all, this portable drive is tiny. Its about a quarter the size of a conventional portable hard drive. Secondly, its about ten times faster than a hard drive and double the speed of a conventional USB SSD. This comes at a price, but if one needs speed, its well worth the extra cost.

> 3 dayWorks like a charm. Great value and speed for holding large Virtual Instrument (VST) files. Important to remember that SSDs last forever when it comes to reading data. Their lifespan is based on how much writing of data is done, which makes them ideal for VST library since you read them and hardly ever have need to writing them once they are stored on the SSD.

Greater than one weekWorked like the best external hard drive i ever had until it crashed on my computer. Both MacBook and SSD are six months old. SSD froze crashed computer and never recovered or was recognized by laptop. Troubleshot with apple, no luck. Sandisk software also didnt help....they are replacing it but Ive lost all of my photos and videos for the last 6 months and Im a professional photographer.
