> 3 dayI replaced all the door knobs in the home we recently purchased. We have had these for just over a month now and they are excellent. Finish is beautiful and operation is smooth and flawless.

> 3 dayThe biggest thing to note is we purposely installed it upside down compared to the install directions. They show to install it with the end of the S curve handle pointing upward. But we like these types of handles with the end pointing downward. With it downward it is easier to use your elbow to push down the handle, if your hands are full, and let your arm slide off the handle as you enter. Looking online, some other companies do show them downward as well. I think the handle works just as well either way (we have tried it both ways). If you want to change the end of the handle from pointing up or down to the other way, you just switch which handle you put on the inside of the door and the outside of the door.

> 3 dayThis was bought as a replacement for an entry door knob, for both front and garage doors. We bought this along with a schlage deadbolt and bought a 2nd set. We had them re-keyed locally at a locksmith store, so we would have a single key. We originally had bought a Kwikset brand knob with a similar design but the locksmith said that Kwikset was not as secure as Schlage. In all, were pleased with this purchase. Elegant design and my husband said it was easy to install. This lever style has helped a lot with my wrist pain since Ive had DeQurvains on both wrists. Definitely a lot more manageable to open than a round knob style. It used to take me several minutes just to turn the round knob, but this now takes me seconds. Just put the key in and push down on the lever.

> 3 dayThe lock I received barely had any copper color coming thru. Im so disappointed. Nothing like the color in the pic online. Basically a bronze lock, not aged bronze. This is the only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating. It was easy to install and seems to be a quality lock. The directions that came with it were confusing, but its not hard to figure out on your own without the directions.

Greater than one weekI bought this to pair with my camelot key pad. The keyed version is actually cheaper and I cant understand why, but I needed something keyless because the whole point of the keypad was to prevent being locked out of the house. ☆Easy, straight forward set up. ☆The handles CAN BE SWITCHED. It arrived in the left side position (I needed it installed on the right). I used the included metal key (wire, really) and inserted it into the holes on each handle to pop them off. Then I just shimmied them onto the opposite sides. ☆Much heftier than what I was expecting. I bought keyed EZ set levers for the interior, Brinks lever for the back door, and replaced an old, round brass deadbolt set on the exterior with this, and the Schlage feels so much more robust than any of those. ☆2 screws are visible on the interior plate. My Brinks set managed to hide these, and I feel that would have been a good choice for the Schlage, too.

> 3 dayVery happy with quality of Schlange locksets. I will never ever go back to quickset again. Schlange makes quality stuff far surpassing quickset and other cheap depot brands.

> 3 dayI replaced 17 year old Dexter handles with the Schlage. Since Dexter is owned by Schlage, it was a straight across swap, no cutting, drilling or chiseling. I think they are good quality at a good price. I looked at Amazon Basics but they were not an exact replacement.

> 3 dayI cant say enough about the impact upgrading our old, outdated bright yellow door handles has had on our new home. But first, my impression of the locks themselves: Installation: Swapping out these locks couldnt have been simpler, requiring only the use of a screwdriver. I had concerns because I was replacing another brand of lock and a style that was much smaller (no back plate) but no matter. The Schlage locks fit perfectly where the previous lock was installed. Note...an electric screwdriver makes the task much easier! Product look and feel: Exactly what youd expect...feels just right when installed, solid and quiet. The black color is clean, sharp, and appears to be very durable (unlike the bright yellow other brand which was already showing signs of wear.) Impact on the house: Like a great piece of jewelry, these door handles provided a finishing touch that quietly raises the bar for the rest of the house. Treat yourself and undertake this weekend upgrade.
