Awesome, sturdy handle and extremely easy to install. My husband and I are finally changing all of our brushed nickel hardware to bronze and it took a while to find something I liked. I didnt want something too fancy but also wanted it to have a little extra as well. The rectangle, beveled base does just that! I think it took all but 5 minutes to change each handle! I would highly recommend these door handles and you know you can never go wrong with Schlage!!!!

The one sided dummy lever was exactly as expected. Matched the passage and privacy units perfectly. I also purchased several of the passage and privacy units. Products appears to be good quality. Very easy to install, I replaced old Kwik-set units. Took only a couple minutes. Had to give the dummy and the passage only one star for both lock feature, and easy to lock, simply because it is a dummy and a passage, doesnt have a lock at all, not intended to lock. So, could not give a high rating for something that does not apply. But the privacy set locks and unlocks perfectly, just as you would expect it to do. All appear to be very good quality. The ones I had to switch sides on, were very easy to do. Schlage includes a tool (which is also the key for the privacy set), making the switch very quick and easy. The privacy set lock lever is a button, rather than a turn knob, so there is no issue like I read about on other manufactures sets being horizontal or vertical when locked or unlocked. Any other advice to others looking to purchase, is to make sure you order what you need, regarding the dummy being left and right, because there is only one lever, so no option to flip or switch it. This was well worth the extra cost, compared to other manufactures.

I have multiple locks installed by different skilled workmen. The locks a very tricky. If you do not open with a full, 180° pull, the lock will not disengage, and you will lock yourself out. The rectangular back plate is attractive, but does not stay square. None have stayed square. All have moved over time they look terrible.

I bought a condo next to mine to put my Mom in as shes now 94 and still on her own. The door locks and handles were from the 1980s and were not easy for her to use. This coded entry is perfect. It was easy to install and easy to program. Plus its much easier for her to use rather than fumble with keys in the dark and try to turn a smaller doorknob which is hard for her to grip. One tip: be sure to check the size of opening of your deadbolt/lock - mine was an older style opening (1 3/4) -- the newer models all use the new standard hole size of 2 1/8 - - so youll have to drill out a larger opening if yours is the older deadbolt size - since my door was thick 80s steel clad I had to get someone with a good drill and bit to drill the larger hole. Once that was completed it was a snap to get this installed. Note, the matching door handle (ordered separately) had no problems going in the older hole. Bonus: this comes in a beautiful brushed nickel finish with a protective coating and it looks great coupled with the matching Schlage handle. Levers are most needed for older folks given mobility and dexterity issues. Highly Recommended.

Switching outdated brass knobs for satin nickel levers (continuity of remodel). Some of the knobs/levers were hard to find and we had to purchase from several locations. Check the ANSI rating (1 - Best, 2 - Better, 3 - Good) and avoid anything rated below 2 if you want a reliable product. These are rated ANSI 2 but seem solid. The levers are easier to open when your arms are full carrying something and much kinder for older folks that prefer not to deal with grab/twist motions. No issues installing dummy, privacy, or passage models. Some savings were found buying in bulk or cardboard packaging vs retail box with clear plastic.

Solid handles, but the push button lock feels a little tight, does not depress much and takes a bit more effort. Perhaps that was purposeful to prevent accidental locking?? Not sure and it is a little nit picky but I dont like it. The same Schlage older handles in my house for over 10 years have been flawless and the lock is a bit easier. Would continue to but this brand . Pn use for over 10 years in my house, no complaints on the old one. T

I bought this to pair with my camelot key pad. The keyed version is actually cheaper and I cant understand why, but I needed something keyless because the whole point of the keypad was to prevent being locked out of the house. ☆Easy, straight forward set up. ☆The handles CAN BE SWITCHED. It arrived in the left side position (I needed it installed on the right). I used the included metal key (wire, really) and inserted it into the holes on each handle to pop them off. Then I just shimmied them onto the opposite sides. ☆Much heftier than what I was expecting. I bought keyed EZ set levers for the interior, Brinks lever for the back door, and replaced an old, round brass deadbolt set on the exterior with this, and the Schlage feels so much more robust than any of those. ☆2 screws are visible on the interior plate. My Brinks set managed to hide these, and I feel that would have been a good choice for the Schlage, too.

Our entire house has this style handle purchased about a decade ago. I needed to replace 4 of them and so bought some more. Frankly, the quality of the older ones is mediocre, but they have a great aesthetic. Sadly, the new ones are unusable. One side of the assembly simply FALLS OFF. This is at best annoying and at worst a huge safety concern. All four units I ordered are this way. They are missing any mechanism to keep them on...the installer is supposed to be able to remove and switch the levers from one side to the other (to compensate for door swing direction) and to do so requires using the key to push into a small hold on the side of the lever. Well, that hole is not drilled into one of the levers! This mean the handle is simply slips on and off. Even the stock photos show the key-hole for lever removal...all four of ours are missing! To make it worse Schlage customer service has proven to be nonexistent. Calling them simply led to intolerable hold-times. Terrible. Will be switching house to a competing brand ASAP.

Purchased it about 3 months ago. Nice upgrade from the ones I had before. They went on very easily, particularly considering the difficulty I had removing the cheap, tarnished ones the previous owners had. A quick, efficient downward turn using this lever is all you do and there are no irritating minor readjustments that need to be made as on the preceding levers. The one thing that befuddles me, however, is that Amazon always says there is only one left and wont let me order multiples. I had to go to another Amazon dealer, translation, no Prime free delivery to buy multiples. Ended up paying more for the product (X the 4 or 5 I ordered) and because I was mad I didnt pay attention to detail and got a slightly different version. That was on me but Amazon was great about the return though. Still dont get why I can only order one at a time. Guess Ill just have to replenish them one at a time. Makes no sense to me but I spent enough years in the service to know there are reasons why things are like they are and that as incomprehensible as they may be to the average person, somebody, somewhere, has a perfectly reasonable explanation for this kind of philosophy. And believe you me, being average is my inspirational goal in Life.
