> 3 dayI replaced 17 year old Dexter handles with the Schlage. Since Dexter is owned by Schlage, it was a straight across swap, no cutting, drilling or chiseling. I think they are good quality at a good price. I looked at Amazon Basics but they were not an exact replacement.

> 3 dayThis is a nice lever/handle. All metal and sturdy, moved with ease but there was no copper color on edges as shown in picture so I opted for a different style/color

> 3 dayYou can never really tell from a picture on Amazon what the actual item is going to be like. Thank God for Amazons easy return policy. We are slowly upgrading our house as we can afford to. We wanted all replacement items to be reasonably priced, but high quality. These door knobs are about $20 more than the cheapest chintzy knob on the market - and about $10 more than the knobs in the style being sold. Way, way, worth the extra cost. They are beautiful, the weight is heavy - they feel high-quality, and they glide when you use them. They are a good investment. I am delighted, and as we can afford to we will be buying more for all the bedroom/bathroom doors in the house.

> 3 dayWe were remodeling a 30 year old house for the first time and wanted to change the feel from whatever-the-builder-got-on-the-cheap to something a bit more refined. This style looked great to us, but to me the more important thing was the build, the weight, the feel of the handle. Im of the belief that you open and close doors all day every day, so you really want it to be a good experience. For that reason I prefer solid core doors, they just feel so much more stable. Along those lines, I hate it when a door knob is either jiggly or has a cheap feeling when turned. I tried these out at Home Depot before buying them, and they were the most solid that I could find there. Id give them only a 9/10 though, as I know there are other handles even more solid (but I couldnt get the brand or find them online easily). Ill certainly be buying more of these when I get to redo our main floor.

> 3 dayAmazon is scamming prime members by switching a prime delivery to a third party seller when they dont have the item in stock and wants to keep you from buying it somewhere else. Worst of all your money is tied up with the seller and they have pushed my delivery date from two weeks away, then added an extra fours days out of nowhere not holding up to amazon a to z guarantee. Have you ever noticed that prime is bold, blue lettering in the product page, but in the submit your order page it is just prime. So always check that prime before clicking on the submit order, or you will be wondering how you just purchased from a third party seller. Truly happy with the Schlage F51A ACC 619 Accent Keyed Lever. I purchased the Schlage 16-126 5 Inch Replacement Deadlatch with 1 x 2 1/4 Inch Square Corner Fa, Satin Nickel sold/shipped from buildcom with no mods or altercations needed for my door with a 5 backstep. Frustration free packageng, with no missing parts, no damage and well contained screws. Schlage and other YTers have helpful, informative videos on how to install the lock set to your door. Big fan of Schlage that I have also recently purchased and installed the Schlage lock set with key pad with no problems. For me the satin nickel finish was worth the extra cost. carpets and drapes my ocd ex prime member

> 3 dayI have had this door lever lockset for years and called Schlage for a replacement. They made no fuss at all and did everything to get me a replacement as soon as possible. Free replacement and shipping. I am so happy I put all my door locksets as Schlage years ago.

> 3 dayPurchased it about 3 months ago. Nice upgrade from the ones I had before. They went on very easily, particularly considering the difficulty I had removing the cheap, tarnished ones the previous owners had. A quick, efficient downward turn using this lever is all you do and there are no irritating minor readjustments that need to be made as on the preceding levers. The one thing that befuddles me, however, is that Amazon always says there is only one left and wont let me order multiples. I had to go to another Amazon dealer, translation, no Prime free delivery to buy multiples. Ended up paying more for the product (X the 4 or 5 I ordered) and because I was mad I didnt pay attention to detail and got a slightly different version. That was on me but Amazon was great about the return though. Still dont get why I can only order one at a time. Guess Ill just have to replenish them one at a time. Makes no sense to me but I spent enough years in the service to know there are reasons why things are like they are and that as incomprehensible as they may be to the average person, somebody, somewhere, has a perfectly reasonable explanation for this kind of philosophy. And believe you me, being average is my inspirational goal in Life.

Greater than one weekI bought a few smart dead bolts, in a matte black finish and wanted basic non-locking levers to go with them. Initially I wanted a fancy entry handle but couldn’t find anything I liked. I found these by chance and I ended up buying one of these and after seeing how well it matched the finish and style, I bought another 2. We are already planning on replacing the rest of the knobs in the house, with the bed/bath version of the same style.

> 3 dayBroken...waaaay too expensive to break within 6 months of use...although I am Hercules so things generally dont last long in my house. Delilah is awfully upset with the sheer amount of destruction I cause in the house. Its pretty though.
