I have always been wary of the connectivity of these items, having lost money in the past, but with this one, it has worked perfectly. when the electric power goes out and come back on, it doesnt trip.

The product description promised that one can set on/off hours via the Sengled App. I was able to install the switch but the app only give remote on/off option without any programming. Attempts to reach the Sengled support were fruitless. If all you want is manual remote control for on/off, this product will do. I am going to order someone that can be programmable and would actually deliver on its promise.

I had purchased another brand of plugs that said they worked with Amazon Echos. I could not get them set up. Ordered these - and Wow! Plugged one in and said discover devices and within a minute or so, it was ready to go. I have actually set up two of the four that I ordered and both were super easy. Now, its only been two days so dont know how long they will last, but they are good for now. At least for now would definitely recommend these if you want fast setup. Oh, and when you are asked what brand of plug, just hit other.

For a pretty techie person, I found myself struggling to get these installed. Finally gave up and sent them back. Too confusing, too many steps, too many additional apps for my phone, and I just went ahead with the more expensive but easily installed Alexa plug.

Love but occasionally losses connection and have to unplug router and plug then plug back in to reset, grrr. Plug n’play otherwise!

Purchased a 4-pack 11 months ago. worked intermittently until a week ago. all stopped responding. previous trick of removing devices and re-adding did not help. Tried again. No luck. Pulled all of the plugs and decided to start over. Deleted devices and asked Alexa to discover devices. Surprise! All of the plugs showed back up despite not being plugged in. Tried for support from Alexa tech support. No help. Oh, tried all combos of app/phone/echo off as well. It did try to pair with my nearby echo after factory reset on plug but just showed the mac address for the plug and alexa stated not paired.

The installation was super easy and quick with the Alexa app on my phone. I love the fact that I can turn lights on even when I am not home. It gives me the ability to add a sense of security like someone is home even if we aren’t without having to have those bulky outlet timers. It also simplifies turning off the kids electronics at night when they are asleep without tripping over everything on their floors. The only reason I did not give a 5 star overall is because of how wide they are. I wanted to plug them into surge protectors but I was unable yo have them plugged in to one and still have other items plugged into the surge protector.

Opened up the Alexa app and searched for devices and there they were ready to go. Super easy to deal with and much easier than using an app and linking to Alexa like many other brands.

These mostly paired quickly when they first arrived (first one paired in seconds with no effort, the rest took a few minutes and some work despite selecting to have them paired to my Alexa before they shipped). I was happy! Used them a few times the first day without issue. Woke up the next morning and all 3 Id set up the day prior said they were unresponsive. Ive tried EVERYTHING and they just dont work. Ive downloaded 3 different apps, tried to repair them with Alexa countless times (they are never found), they arent giving off a Wi-Fi signal so theyre not discoverable via the Sengled app. I tried the 4th one, which I never set up originally, and even that one didnt work (I figured it would set up like the 3 on Day 1 but I was wrong). Absolutely a waste of time and money. So frustrating. Im returning these.
