> 3 dayLuckily my son is tech savvy or I would never been able to use this item. I had no clue about mesh. He told me I had to plug all four in with a distance in-between and then program. Once I did this, they work great and I bought more. I have them all through my home. LOVE IT

> 3 dayThe installation was super easy and quick with the Alexa app on my phone. I love the fact that I can turn lights on even when I am not home. It gives me the ability to add a sense of security like someone is home even if we aren’t without having to have those bulky outlet timers. It also simplifies turning off the kids electronics at night when they are asleep without tripping over everything on their floors. The only reason I did not give a 5 star overall is because of how wide they are. I wanted to plug them into surge protectors but I was unable yo have them plugged in to one and still have other items plugged into the surge protector.

> 3 dayI was looking for some smart plugs that DIDNT require a separate app. I got a four pack of these. Set up was quite fiddly actually - they didnt appear right away on the app without a scan. They connect over Bluetooth, and thats seems to be the root of the problem. I set up two of them, then within 30 minutes started getting Device Unresponsive messages. When a product has LITERALLY one job to do, and it cant do it, then its worthless. It may be because I have five Echo devices (two Shows and three Dots) in my house and it seems to get confused about which one to connect to. Maybe they work fine if you only have one. In any case, theyre going back to Amazon.

15-11-2024I bought this November 30th, installed dec 3, and everything connected fine with my Alexa for a while, was able to create routines for Xmas lights through the app, etc. HOWEVER overnight, these have mysteriously disconnected and refuse to connect to any device or app- Alexa, sengled home, sengled bluetooth. I’ve tried every method of reset (and I’m tech literate) and nothing has worked. It’s not an Alexa issue because my echo is connecting to my phone Bluetooth just fine. Reading the low reviews here shows it’s actually a common problem.

19-11-2024I now have the T-Mobile Home Internet. This is 5Ghz and my Echo Dot Alexa stopped recognizing my 2.4Ghz smart plugs. I ordered a Broadline 5Ghz plug from Amazon and had to send it back after trying a dozen times to get my Echo Dot Alexa to recognize it. I finally bought a Sengled Bluetooth Smart Plug Compatible with Alexa. Plugged it in, told Alexa to discover device. In about a minute later Alexa told me she found the device (called it a switch rather than a plug). Alexa then told me how to use it. After I plugged my lamp into the device and turned on the lamp, I told Alexa to turn off the switch. It turned off! I then told Alexa to turn on the switch. It turned on. I then changed the name to Plug via the Alexa app, to be the same as my deleted 2.4 plug. Remember, this Sengled device attaches to the Echo via Bluetooth, not the internet; so, you need to be within Bluetooth distance, less than 30 feet or so. Very cool, very easy to install and very highly rated by me!!

> 3 dayHard to find a plug that works well with 5ghz wifi. Most only work with 2.4. This works perfect with my 5ghz. One of the very few I could find to work.
