Great item easy to use. No problem works fantastic.

1st what to do .i plugged one in and blew a fuse for bedroom bathroom and hallway. I also totally blew out my newest lame which had 2 lights. I called tech he graciously told me to check fuse box .i did but i only was able to fix the fuse when I took out the plug. After I got lights on I tried to simply plug my lamp in. It blew fuse again. I tried other outlet below that one. Again it blew out fuse. So I lost my special up light with spot light I use for cats litter box and tv. The other outlet on same wall I use for roku and boxes. These were used for them and only effected by fuse out. Final analysis I reread instructions. Only 3 steps. I think between 1 & 2 I needed to know clearly the reason to do them. Ive used several of these, mainly during Christmas to turn on outside lights and Christmas tree. I also had to replace another brands switch that went down. So far Ive been very pleased.

Purchased a 4-pack 11 months ago. worked intermittently until a week ago. all stopped responding. previous trick of removing devices and re-adding did not help. Tried again. No luck. Pulled all of the plugs and decided to start over. Deleted devices and asked Alexa to discover devices. Surprise! All of the plugs showed back up despite not being plugged in. Tried for support from Alexa tech support. No help. Oh, tried all combos of app/phone/echo off as well. It did try to pair with my nearby echo after factory reset on plug but just showed the mac address for the plug and alexa stated not paired.

Would have given 5 stars but they make a clicking sound when you turn them on. Not a deal breaker though, I think they work great.

My wifi goes down on a weekly basis and I only stream content. I can’t panned to put on of these on my surge protector, plug my modem’s power in and use my Sengled Home app to turn the power on/off to the modem power to reset my internet instead of going from bedroom to front of house where modem is to power cycle it. For some reason you can’t connect directly to the switch with your phones bluetooth capability. It must have a wifi signal, which defeats me owning this product. Connect to your laptop he via Bluetooth not wifi

Poor Alexa integration. Box and advertisement state your echo can recognize these, but that’s only after using the manufacturer’s app and downloading the manufacturer’s skill to your echo. Couldn’t get them to pair, dealt with Amazon customer service- a whole hassle not worth it. Check the reviews for the app and the skill… you’re better off paying more for the Amazon brand that connect directly with your echo.

Alexa only recognizes the plug as a switch. Deal breaker? No. But if its a plug and you want to control all the same devices, it does become messy.
