SENNHEISER HD 599 Open Back Headphone, Ivory

Sennheiser is a German company (or at least was) and as such I would have expected a product that was manufactured there or at least somewhere in Europe. Instead these are classic made in China headphones of poor quality. Would not pay more than 30 Euros for them, they are not worth the current price. Sent them back right away without as much as putting them on.

So I had used these headphones everyday for three years and this is the wear and tear you should expect of regular use. It’s important to note the cup pads are not replaceable and glue is used to keep them sealed up. Sound quality hasn’t diminished just the paddings deterioration on the top and side. Otherwise a very comfortable and high quality device. But other headphones at this price point DO have replaceable paddings. Sound quality hasn’t been diminished, there is zero noise cancellation as these are open back. Comfort is being compromised due to the pads deterioration

Muy útiles y prácticos. Vienen con un cable de 3.5 mm pero incuye también uno más corto de 2.5 mm intercambiables. Los bajos son muy claros y los agudos precisos.

First of all, theyre beautifully designed and very comfortable. So far, so good. Then I played Steely Dans Aja album on vinyl plugged into a vintage Kenwood amp with a very good headphone preamp and wow. These headphones are amazing right out of the box, and they arent even broken in yet! I demoed 6 different headphones from 4 different manufacturers and these were my favorite. YMMV of course. Ordered them during the evening and received them the next morning. Delivery service is outstanding.

This is a great sounding headphone. Just the right touch of everything from the lows to the highs.

I do not consider myself an audiophile but do love a variety of headphones, given their specific uses. I just received and opened the 599 SEs. The packing was simple (a carrying case would be nice). The headphones came with two cables per the description. I purchased these on sale for $129.99. For the price point, Im quite pleased. See the specific sections below for more information.

Los compré tras leer una crítica en una revista de música clásica de Francia. Y, en efecto, son excelentes. Quizás los haya mejores (un poquito, porque con estos parece que está en el auditorio), pero no a ese precio.
