SENNHEISER HD 599 Open Back Headphone, Ivory

Very comfortable headphones - the one criticism I have is that I have to turn volume on TV way up past my normal listening level so I have to be careful when unplugging them. However the sound quality is excellent and I have to say that watching a movie with the headphones on makes it feel just like being at the cinema - maybe the 55inch tv helps in that respect but the sound is lovely.

Excellent quality great sound

First off, at $99 you arent going to get better sounding open back headphones than these. Sound quality is pretty great on these. However, they look absolutely ridiculous on my head (your miles may vary) and the top of the headband isnt the most comfortable. The earcups however, are pretty great. If you just bought these as your first mid range headphone you wont be disappointed. But, I purchased these as an upgrade to the cheaper SHP9500 headphones, and for me, it was actually a downgrade. SHP9500s have a wider soundstage, and a much more comfortable on my head. They have less clamp, bigger ear cups, a 3.5mm standard connector, and a more comfortable headband. Sound quality overall is about the same between the two headsets. This is just my personal preference, and theyre both great headsets, and will work on basically any device, so go with whichever appeals to you more.

Acquistata a circa 130 euro, a questo prezzo difficile trovare di meglio. Qualità del suono buona, livello costruttivo adeguato al prezzo. Se si vuole di meglio bisogna spendere 2-3 volte di più almeno.

Excellent update to HD598. Better lows, better hights. Anything that was bothering me with the older version is fixed in these.
