I wanted something for music, gaming and watching TV. A sonic upgrade to my trusty old (circa 2002) HD500. After initially considering the HD559 I decided to spend more for something better, so (after reading and watching a lot of reviews) chose the HD599 whilst they were on sale. They look good and are comfortable, but I found them a little dull sounding, lacking both in detail and brightness. Theres a lot of emphasis on upper bass/lower midrange that sounds good on thinner recordings, but overwhelms modern, more dynamically compressed recordings. Disappointed with this I learned of the newer HD560S, which only cost slightly more. The difference in sound is significant. The HD560S have clearer, more detailed highs and sound more spacious (the HD599 make the sound appear closer to your head). The HD560S dont suffer the upper bass/lower mid boost of the HD599. Ive returned the HD599 in favour of the HD560S.

I spent a few hours trying out over a dozen headphones in stores, mostly Best Buy and found this to be superior to any of the headphones I tried, including several that were over $350. Granted, most of those were wireless and had noise cancelation, both of which increase price and decrease sound quality, but I still feel like I got a great deal with this purchase.

Had them for a month or so. They are not sound canceling, anyone in the room will hear. However, sound quality is in my opinion top notch, as a gamer and a fool who love music. Roomies cant hearem, so its a plus i love to crank the jams when the leave, alas when they are around glad I got these. Once again top notch sound quality, not canceling.

I did like these headphones at first, but they lacked the highs without EQ, and the bass was a bit muddy at times. They do have a warm sound. I would have kept them , but I liked the BeyerDynamic DT880 cans better. I listen to mostly classical music, and the BD are more representative of a concert hall (at least the hall I visit in Chicago). It took me hours to finally make up my mind, and lots of different genres of classical music. The HD 599 are super comfortable, and they have that advantage over the DT880, which are comfortable, but not as comfortable as the HD 599. I like that the cable can be removed in the event it gets damaged.

Cascos de excelente calidad dada su marca tan renombrada, su calidad es excepcional tanto en acabados, materiales y sonido. Sus almohadillas son cambiables para cuando se estropeen. Cuenta con dos cables diferentes, con Jack de distintos tamaños y aparte un adaptador para Jack de 6,5 a 3,5 mm. El modo de sacar en cable de el auricular es media vuelta y sacarlo, hay que tener cuidado con esto ya que podemos intentar tirar de ellos creyendo que es a presión y romperlos. Su calidad de sonido es muy muy buena y son comodos, no te duelen las orejas ni llevándolos mucho tiempo, se nota que están fabricados para poder hacerlo sin problema. Están fabricados para usarlos en equipos HiFi de ahí su gran calidad

Great design. These headphones sound fantastic. Very comfortable. Everything youd expect from Sennheiser - reviews online say the rest.

Use it for mixing and casual listening. Good quality, especially for the price.

Ich habe diesen Kopfhörer gekauft, weil mein AKG K701 (ebenfalls offen) den Geist aufgegeben hatte und ich einen zweiten Kopfhörer neben dem Beyerdynamic DT770 haben wollte.
