> 24 hourA solo purpose of this purchase was because it is a bagless vacuum. After using the bagless upright vacuum a decade or two, I had no intention to keep buying and wasting those bags. So for that matter, this is the perfect auto vacuum. The downside of this is that - which I was aware of prior to the purchase - this model does not equip a sensor to detect objects. In order words, it would push a shoe around, try very hard (perhaps wasting battery power) to go over anything on its way. I forgot to turn off the scheduled cleaning while I was out of town, it ran and the cats apparently pushed a small glass bowl off the kitchen counter and spread small broken glasses, some large pieces got stuck when it did self emptying so most certainly Id certainly schedule to run while I am at home, clear the floor before the scheduled time. So if you prefer to run an auto vacuum of any kind, Id suggest that you choose the sensor to avoid the objects.

> 24 hourMy review is not so much about product as it is about whatever distribution centers provide the product to Amazon. We have purchased 4 of these but it was only because we had to return 2 of them. The first return was because the item shipped was not what was ordered. The correct model number was written in pen on the outside of the box but that was not what was on the inside #2 return was for defective product. Kept getting an error about object was detecting robot was about to go off a cliff and to clean sensors - which I did multiple times before calling manufacturer support line who, while very accommodating were unable to help me resolve the problem. I should have suspected this was a previously returned product for a number of reasons 1. There were no manuals or setup guides as part of the package 2. Side brushes were already installed 3. Roller had dust and dirt 4. Dust container also showed signs of previous use as there was visible dust and dirt inside container 5. Film that covers sensitive areas was absent I want to make it clear, I do not believe this is an Amazon problem but rather one of the manufacturers distribution center. If they are sending returned packages without some type of quality control.....

> 24 hourI purchased the Shark during the after Thanksgiving sales. We did not set it up until New Years and what a great surprise. It works great on my wood floors and has no issues with my area rugs. Ive read that its loud, but its not as loud as a regular vacuum so not sure what one would expect. The only time I hear it is when it emptys when it goes back to its home. We do not have pets so I cannot speak on if it works well with pet hair, but I would not expect it or any other brand to pick up piles of hair. That would be something for your larger vacuum. Overall, its a great buy and would recommend.

> 24 hourIts a good vacuum but for what its being sold for dont buy it. There are far better robots out there. If you want to stay with Shark go with one of their LiDAR robots. They track a lot better. Pros: Self empty dock works great. No-go zones. Great suction and good pickup. Easy to maintain. Good edge tracking. Cons: Doesnt work in the dark due to being a camera system. Doesnt clean corners well. Tracking is okay at best, doesnt know where it is sometimes. App is okay, used to be worse.

> 24 hourWe’ve had “Carson” for about 6 weeks, running the daily route about the house. The messy parakeet feathers and mess are no match for this little helper. Unexpectedly, the old carpet is looking much better, too! The daily fluff and cleaning is really doing it good. We highly recommend this product!

> 24 hourWe have 3 dogs and they bring in a lot of mess. Especially when its rained and wet outside. The app is pretty good. It has some trouble mapping -- better to start it off in broad daylight with all the lights on. It will randomly stop (sometimes to recharge, other times to completely forget to do the kitchen, even though mapped) and will also get stuck on some apparently easy obstacles. (The robot texts me when its hung up, so glad I gave it a good name!). But it also magically gets out of some pretty tough spots. Grab a beer and sit back and watch. I set it to run it 6 days/week; more often is better for us (it wont do a major vacuum, but it will keep up if ran frequently.) I thoroughly clean it weekly. On the robot, I shake out the filter (or replace it) and rinse the collector. I also run the beater and the beaters keeper under water until clean. On the mother ship, I pull and rinse the dust bin, which gets bad if wet outside. I also soap and wash the two filters (or replace them). Its clear a lot of grit gets through the filters into the motor, so expecting a failure. For the HEPA filter, I have not replace it yet, but it sure shakes out a lot of dust. Then I air blast, wipe both down both, and polish the sensors. If I am out of town it consistently crashes within 6+ days (my wife does not clean it). I bet it would work a lot better and with fewer cleanings if you dont have dogs brining in sticks and leaves.

> 24 hourI have really bad allergies. I have a dog and a cat. This thing has changed my life in helping keep hair and dander swept up. My allergies are much better in my house. But, I personally do not think it is worth spending more money for the self dump.

> 24 hourIm not much for writing reviews, but this one deserves it. Ive never had an autonomous vacuum cleaner so my review is solely based on a first time users experience. The vacuum integrated perfectly with my Google Home, although it does not seem to like cleaning rooms with custom names by voice. For example, if I say Hey Google, clean the cat room it doesnt seem to understand. But when I rename the room to one of its canned names then it does just fine. Hey Google, clean the laundry room was what I had to use. It mapped the house perfectly on its first run. I have a 2,000sqf 1 story house with multiple rooms. It took the better part of a whole day for the vacuum to map the whole house, but now I can send it to any specific room and it will drive right to it and clean it. After about 4 cleanings, we no longer have cat/dog hair buried in the carpet in our main bedroom. Now you would never know we have any animals at all by looking at our floors because this sucker cleans everything (we run it every other day through the whole house). As for the auto-emptying feature... It works flawlessly. The only issue is that it will not last anywhere close to 30 days unless you already keep your floors clean another way and dont have animals. With 2 people and 2 animals, we have to empty the vacuum base every 2-3 days but this is still way easier then having to keep up with emptying the vacuum itself. It takes all of about 30 seconds to empty the base and it never impedes with the vacuums ability to do its job. Overall, this vacuum has saved us so much time by eliminating our need to vacuum/sweep every day! Definitely a 5 star rating from us with a glowing recommendation. We bought it on cyber Monday so it was a great deal, but it would still be worth the full sticker price in my opinion.
