> 3 dayI have a Belgian Malinois and a German Shepard and it cleans up their fur really well on all hard surfaces. There’s never ANY dust or fur visible on the hard floor, the vacuum is ran once a day on a schedule. As you can imagine, carpet can be difficult to get fur out of for most vacuums. If I had to put a number on it, I’d say that it cleans up 90%-95% of the fur on the carpet. That’s actually really impressive with how much my dogs shed year round. The mapping took some time but once we figured out how to do it properly, it’s been working great! The house is 2,400sqft and it does have to stop one time during cleaning to recharge but it returns to exactly where it left off and finishes the rest of the house. The reason it has to recharge is likely due to it being on the highest suction mode, which is awesome that there is even an option for that. Couldn’t recommend this vacuum enough, it’s drastically lessened cleaning time throughout the week. Also, it’s nice to come home to vacuum lines in the carpet every day that I don’t have to spend time on. The bagless empty on the home base is an awesome feature as well. Just be mindful not to have it run at night because the vacuum on the home base is loud when it pulls everything out of the robot, as it should be. It does a great job at pulling everything out and the loud suction only lasts a couple of seconds. Just know that it may wake you up if you’re asleep. 10/10 recommend, absolutely worth every dime.

Greater than one weekMy Lady-Friend saw this Model on Sale for 200 Dollars off for a limited time. I had talked about getting a robot vacuum and this was the opening I was waiting for. Amazon shipped it to us and we received it without any incidents. Setup was a breeze. It is easy to assemble, and getting it onto my WIFI Network was a breeze. I had some issues until I discovered I forgot to switch my phone with the app from the 5g signal to the 2g signal (very important). Once I did that, setting up the Robot on the App was easy. I really have any complaints about the Shark Robot. It does what is advertised. It is actually cleaning our apartment as we speak. It does a good job of finding its way around without getting stuck. The only time it got stuck was when it was cleaning under our bed. I put down some of the magnetic border strips to keep it away from my surge protector and the wires around it, and it got stuck between the strips and one of the bedframe support posts. It was an easy fix, just moved the strips in more to give the robot more room to maneuver. Problem solved. So far, Im happy with my purchase. Now, the Kraken in the Room: The Suction. I think it is decent for what the Robot is. I did a good job of picking up the dirt and lint that was under our bed that we could have never gotten with our normal vacuum without moving the bed. Understand that this Robot, especially at this price point, will NEVER fully replace your standard upright vacuum. The purpose of this robot is spot cleaning and keeping a base level of cleanliness. You should still have and be using your upright for when you need true deep cleaning. In closing, this is a powerful little robot that does the job that it is advertised it will do. It is easy to set up and easy to use. If you absolutely HAVE to have a more powerful robot that does more of the deep-cleaning that youre looking for, the Roomba has a model that is around 800 bucks. Thank you, and GOOD NIGHT NOW!!!

> 3 dayAs a household with 4 kids at home and a bunch of pets.....this does the trick for in between deep clean vacuuming. I run this little guy Monday - Friday and then use our standard vacuum on the weekends. This definitely sucks up more than I expected it to, especially since its incredibly quiet. I was expecting this be loud like the Roomba a few years back, but we can hardly tell its running so I was skeptical when it went back to the base to empty. We do have thicker carpet in our living room, but ti still managed to do a great job cleaning. We make sure that we pick up anything that may get in its way to get a full cleaning each cycle. Overall.....I am loving it so far for day to day cleaning

> 3 dayI was gifted this robot for Christmas (early) and I love it so much. Here’s what i learned thus far: 1.) Before you use your robot, vacuum your floors one good time first with a regular vacuum. Make sure to mop the floors too! This robot was made to maintain cleanliness, it’s not meant to clean up a floor left untouched for several days/weeks/months/years (you know who you are.) 2.) Make sure to set your robot to self-empty every 30 minutes and to also self-charge when the battery is low. Doing this will keep your robot cleaning in between charging sessions if your floor is large. 3.) We like to use pillows to keep the robot out of rooms or nooks he’s not allowed in. I’ll get the strips at a later date. 3.) We run our bot once every other day. 4.) This bot kinda forces you to keep junk off the floor. Want clean carpets? Pick up those clothes/cords/papers! This bot is good for fur control if you have hard floors and standard grade carpets. Thick, plush carpets with long strands are going to get caught in the brush (he got stuck on my super fluffy bath mat). I have an 8x10 rug and standard bedroom carpets you typically find average built (or cookie cutter) homes. Our robot cleans them very well and makes satisfying patterns on the carpets that really set a good, clean-feeling mood. We have two high shedding women and three ultra shedding cats. I clean off the spinner brush about once a week so that it won’t get clogged with hair. Also be sure to clean the filters monthly. If you take the time to care for your robot routinely, it will excel in keeping your floors fur and dirt free!

> 3 dayI love my shark robe vacuum. I bought this after watching my daughters work around in her home. Ive named her Hazel and she is wonderful. The first couple days she worked she filled really quickly - the crazy thing went under me bed and found lots of dust bunnies - thank you Hazel. Now she can pretty much do the entire house with only one trip back to empty. Ive had Hazel about a month now and have found nothing I dont love about her. Twice she got her self into a spot where she needed help to get out. The notification part of the app told me of her distress and it was an easy fix. I never thought Id want or need a robot vacuum but now that I have one Im never giving her up!!!

> 3 dayIm not much for writing reviews, but this one deserves it. Ive never had an autonomous vacuum cleaner so my review is solely based on a first time users experience. The vacuum integrated perfectly with my Google Home, although it does not seem to like cleaning rooms with custom names by voice. For example, if I say Hey Google, clean the cat room it doesnt seem to understand. But when I rename the room to one of its canned names then it does just fine. Hey Google, clean the laundry room was what I had to use. It mapped the house perfectly on its first run. I have a 2,000sqf 1 story house with multiple rooms. It took the better part of a whole day for the vacuum to map the whole house, but now I can send it to any specific room and it will drive right to it and clean it. After about 4 cleanings, we no longer have cat/dog hair buried in the carpet in our main bedroom. Now you would never know we have any animals at all by looking at our floors because this sucker cleans everything (we run it every other day through the whole house). As for the auto-emptying feature... It works flawlessly. The only issue is that it will not last anywhere close to 30 days unless you already keep your floors clean another way and dont have animals. With 2 people and 2 animals, we have to empty the vacuum base every 2-3 days but this is still way easier then having to keep up with emptying the vacuum itself. It takes all of about 30 seconds to empty the base and it never impedes with the vacuums ability to do its job. Overall, this vacuum has saved us so much time by eliminating our need to vacuum/sweep every day! Definitely a 5 star rating from us with a glowing recommendation. We bought it on cyber Monday so it was a great deal, but it would still be worth the full sticker price in my opinion.

> 3 dayIn the FAQ for this advertisement it says that it has mapping. IT DOES NOT. After 2 months of letting my Shark run every day, giving it access to all of the same areas, reinstalling the app etc. I finally called Shark support and they said that any model that start with A9... does NOT have mapping abilities. In the app cleaning history you can see a map of what was cleaned but you will NOT get an interactive map to assign rooms or areas. Amazon should monitor the FAQ for accuracy and misleading information as this is why I paid a hundred dollars more for this robot over ones with similar reviews. The 3 stars is for its effectiveness otherwise. I have 5 cats and 4 small long and short hair dogs. On hard surfaces it does an amazing deep sweep job. On area rugs (low and high ply) it is like a light vacuum, not like a powerful upright but that is all I expected. I do have to clean the brushes and filters once a week but it easily accessible, not screw driver or tools needed, the cover to the brushes just pops open and push tabs. For The dust screen and air filter, I use a soft bottle brush over the sink to keep clean and when it accidentally picks up a wet hairball a wipe it with a disinfecting wipe and wash the removable parts in the sink. I dump the canister container 1x a week but have many pets, kids and a Christmas tree skirt and gifts with tons of glitter (which my cats scatter everywhere) and this little guy keeps it all cleaned up. I still run an upright vacuum a couple of times a month in the rugs for a deep clean and sweep behind and under furniture where my shark cant go but I noticed that bc I run my shark everyday those area have a huge reduction in hair and debris bc with the daily run that hair doesnt have time to blow into those areas. I used to have to sweep daily and vacuum 1-2 times a week to maintain clean floors with my pets and kids but those days are over. Now I can clean the floors as often as a normal household lol I do not think this is loud on hard or soft surfaces at all, even on maximum suction mode. I have vinyl plank floors and area rugs. My hair dryer on its lowest setting is louder than this Shark on its highest setting. Its slightly louder than someone sweeping with a broom on normal suction. That being said, you have to go into the app and manually switch it to maximum suction every time youd Shark is on a scheduled cleaning, I havent found a way to permanently set it to maximum. Pet owner advise: I scheduled my Shark to clean daily while everyone is at work and school but sometimes at night one of the cats will step on the clean button and it will start running. With my 2 story it doesnt wake anyone and thank my cats for pitching in but in a 1 story, where it may come into a room where someone is sleeping it may be a problem so you may want to turn off its power switch at night. Also, light weight food and water bowls will be relocated around the house. I have a heavier porcelain water bowl and it does not move that. A forest of dining room chair legs may cause it to temporarily get confused but as long as it has the space to get under the table and chairs it will eventually find its way out and the more often you allow it to go under your table and chairs the smarter it gets to getting out when its done. Try not to feel sorry for the little guy and help it out, it has to learn on its own. Brain development comes with time, repetitive actions, and experience. Alexa users: say tell Shark to clean or go dock and you have to have a whole conversation to do that: (my sharks name is Jonny 5) Alexa, tell Shark to go dock Your Robot name please? Jonny 5 Alright, your robot is on its way to dock lol but it works

Greater than one weekI previously had less expensive robot vacuum of another brand and it worked well for about a year until the pets killed it out of curiosity. I went about 6 months without it but definitely missed it with 2 dogs and 2 cats inside. I had major rotator cuff surgery some months back and vacuuming still irritates my shoulder so I went to looking for another robot vacuum to help. I settled on this one and love it! I run it at least once a day throughout the house common areas about half standard carpet and half LVP flooring. My house is large so it runs quite a bit. The battery charge can all the areas in one charge and I have it set to automatically return to station to empty when it gets full then it return vacuuming. It picks up pretty well and makes it much easier to keep carpets clean. I still vacuum weekly with my corded shark upright because cordless vacuums don’t have the power corded do but sure make life easier. This little guy picks up everything from flour to cat food, it’s low profile enables it to reach under cabinets and into corners and it’s pretty good at emptying its canister but sometimes will let you know it needs help and you have to manually emptying out the canister but overall it works great !

> 3 dayIve had mine for a couple months now and overall its doing an absolutely fantastic job. PROS: I only have to empty this sucker out maybe once a month, which already makes it better than a lot of vacuums for me. Instead of wandering all over the place, it maps out your floor over a couple iterations and then methodically goes back and forth over every inch it can reach (which, lets face it, Im not squeezing a vacuum under some of the furniture it can glide right under). You also dont have to babysit it, as it periodically returns to its dock to empty out what it has collected up to that point before picking back up where it left off. The associated Shark app lets me program it to go through my house at specific times or days of the week, or pause it remotely if I feel like it. I never see it get stuck on anything. Its decently quiet for a vacuum, too, except when... CONS: ...it empties its contents into the main dock, which is pretty loud for about 2 or 3 seconds. This is technically a con, since it *will* grab your and everyone elses attention immediately, but its so quiet the rest of the time that I honestly dont care. (Frankly it also makes me laugh because I swear it sounds like the worlds tiniest jet engine for those couple seconds of emptying.) I guess my only real gripe is that Shark (and the million 3rd party retailers) make it bizarrely difficult to buy the correct version of the tiny forward brushes if you want to grab some extra replacement ones just in case. Mine have held up well, but if you do need some, for the love of God make sure you visually match them up first before buying.

> 3 dayI’m on I’ve owned another Robo vacuum before and it was not a smart mapping one,. The bumping into everything randomly was not a very good message, so I ended up returning it. Furthermore, it required me to empty it each time it runs. In the end, it really wasn’t all that convenient. I ended up looking for something that not only didn’t have Mark nothing but that it could empty itself after shopping around for a good value. My research told me to buy this one. This shark does everything, and it requires almost no attention from the user I could almost say that it’s actually a deep cleaning , I cannot believe how much dust catchers each time it does a cleaning. I have mostly carpet and when I walk barefoot on my carpet, I can feel the supple cleanliness of the clean carpet. It’s a luxurious ceilings. I am extremely extremely happy with this purchase excellent excellent value I highly recommend this product.
