LOVE this vacuum! We have 4 dogs and LOTS of hair! We have tried three different Roombas and none of them even came close to the job this Shark does; my floors haven’t been this clean in forever! I will watch for the next sale and buy another!

Probably should have bought a brand new one. It was amazing when it worked. But buying refurbished is always a risk.

It does a excellent job. It learned map of house and I can easily use app to clean specific rooms. Easily climbs over high pile carpet and cleans. Transitions easily between hard surfaces onto carpet. Worth the money.

A solo purpose of this purchase was because it is a bagless vacuum. After using the bagless upright vacuum a decade or two, I had no intention to keep buying and wasting those bags. So for that matter, this is the perfect auto vacuum. The downside of this is that - which I was aware of prior to the purchase - this model does not equip a sensor to detect objects. In order words, it would push a shoe around, try very hard (perhaps wasting battery power) to go over anything on its way. I forgot to turn off the scheduled cleaning while I was out of town, it ran and the cats apparently pushed a small glass bowl off the kitchen counter and spread small broken glasses, some large pieces got stuck when it did self emptying so most certainly Id certainly schedule to run while I am at home, clear the floor before the scheduled time. So if you prefer to run an auto vacuum of any kind, Id suggest that you choose the sensor to avoid the objects.

I cannot believe how much I adore this vacuum. I have 4 dogs and live on a farm. Vacuuming is a daily chore and I haven’t had to do anything since this thing arrived. Set up was easy. It runs daily and I empty weekly. Easy and so efficient!!

I love my shark robe vacuum. I bought this after watching my daughters work around in her home. Ive named her Hazel and she is wonderful. The first couple days she worked she filled really quickly - the crazy thing went under me bed and found lots of dust bunnies - thank you Hazel. Now she can pretty much do the entire house with only one trip back to empty. Ive had Hazel about a month now and have found nothing I dont love about her. Twice she got her self into a spot where she needed help to get out. The notification part of the app told me of her distress and it was an easy fix. I never thought Id want or need a robot vacuum but now that I have one Im never giving her up!!!

We’ve had “Carson” for about 6 weeks, running the daily route about the house. The messy parakeet feathers and mess are no match for this little helper. Unexpectedly, the old carpet is looking much better, too! The daily fluff and cleaning is really doing it good. We highly recommend this product!

I had an ilife V3 pro and my dogs (one short hair one long) killed it before we moved to a house with carpeting. I wanted a vac that could handle pets and carpet. This one does... OK. Not great, not bad. It cant do the cleaning of a full powered vac but is nice for days in between a good cleaning. It does work on carpet, not great but good. Hardwood and tile is just fine. As for the no tangle feature? I cant tell if it actually works or not as every day I get notifications that something has gone wrong and have to pull the sweeper bar out and detangle it. To me? Its worth the money, but has room for improvement. It does a great job of coverage and do love the catch bin. Battery life is good and love that if I set it to max power, it stays there. The app is easy to use, but the error messages tend to be vague. took me forever to figure out error 2 (an obstruction underneath). I thought it meant the lenses for ledges or obstacles. Instead it meant the beater bar was clogged.

To start with the straightforward stuff, it is a fantastic product for those looking for something simple to keep their rooms clean when they cannot do this. I would not recommend it for super heavy cleaning of tons and tons of fur if you have a husky or another large shedder. I do not have any pets, so this was fine with me. I use it in my basement because it gets pretty dusty down there fairly quickly. It keeps it very clean, especially from all the debris knocked off of shoes. The app was, at first, minimal and did not provide much control over the robot. But they just recently released an update that shows a more clean interface, and it allows you to pause the robot if there’s an issue. Before there was no pause button, so it would be difficult to resume it when the robot would get stuck in a situation. It definitely takes more than a few runs to learn your room and to stop running into things. I have watched it slowly grasp where everything is, and it has finally stopped running into problems as much. It used to get stuck under my computer chair, but now it recognizes it and completely ignores it. It does an excellent job of cleaning dust, debris, and even little critters. There are 3 different modes to choose from when it comes to suction strength: • Eco mode is suitable for light cleaning around the rooms if you want to save the battery and such. • Normal mode works fine if you are doing a regular clean. I mainly use this mode because it cleans the best while reaching all rooms without running out of battery. • Max mode will cause it to lose battery much quicker, but it will clean at the maximum suction. This mode is excellent for these types of situations. However, I would not recommend using this mode if the area you are cleaning is large in size.

First experience with a robot vacuum and not overly impressed. First unit lasted around 6 months before a component failed. Shark did replace it under warranty after I paid a nice shipping and handling cost of the replacement. Cleaning: It does well maintaining but does not deep clean. I purchased this unit due to the multi-floor and because we have a semi-indoor blue healer. The unit definitely keeps the hair from building up but we still need to do an actual deep clean from time to time to get everything. Mapping: I had to delete the first few maps on both the original and the replacement until they looked correct. I was hoping to be able to schedule the kitchen and living room nightly with the bedrooms weekly (dog doesnt get to come into the bedrooms). But when I would use the app to just clean one room_ it would go through the entire house anyway. I gave up on the map/room aspect and just hit the clean button on the unit when I wanted it to run. The barrier function is useless. Unless it already maps the space, you cant set it up. It it also very course in its mapping, there is no fine tuning. I wanted to set up a barrier on out laundry room so that it never attempted to go in that space but would have to let it map the area a few times before I could block it - I ended up just shutting the door. I tried to block the area of the Christmas tree the first year but it ignored it and plowed through the presents and the tree skirt anyway. AI: The programming lacks finesse and the ability to learn. Both units likes to bump into things and turn to discover its boundaries (and never stops). I put weights in front of the doors so that it doesnt shut the door on itself, pick up chairs so that it doesnt wedge between the legs, put a trashcan next to the toilet so that it doesnt hop up on the bottom of the toilet and get stuck, and move the entrance mat so that it doesnt get stuck between it and the wall. It doesnt learn where obstructions are to avoid them. I made tubes to act as barriers around the Christmas tree this year, Ill need to add some weights on them as it keeps trying to push through them. It works ok as long as you are there to fix it when it gets stuck. I do not schedule as I dont let the unit run when Im not home to monitor. Once the warranty is out and this one dies, I will most likely try a different manufacturer.
