> 3 dayI’ve had this vacuum for about a month now and here’s my honest review. Little back story we have a 1500 sqft home with dark wood color LVP, two girls, and 3 dogs. We have 2 Great Pyrenees dogs and if you know about them they shed ALOT! Big clumps of furry hair. Our newest addition fur baby is a Bernese Mountain dog, different hair but lots of shedding, we got her not long after my purchase of this vacuum and I’m so happy I did. The suction power on this is amazing and unlike any other I’ve seen. It has no trouble with the big clumps of hair, or the fine bits and all the sand, oh so much sand. One of the selling features for me on this model was the two brushrolls and the self cleaning brushroll. Ive tried robot vacuums and so many other products but I spend more time cleaning out the brush rolls and detangling all the big furry clumps of dog hair than it would if I were to just sweep the floor myself. But this vacuum I’ve had it’s times where I did have to clean it out because there hair is so long, but 95% of the time since using it, the self cleaning brush roll does work! I’ve watched it detangle through the brush roll view and I’m amazed. Nothing has ever worked for all this fluff before. The ability to quickly release the wand/handle has been great to get into those hard to reach areas. Huge pro I also love is that all the suction parts have a built in light meaning thr brush roll head, the wand, handle all have a light and with my darker floors this has been great to ensure I miss no spots. The description also states that it would kinda polish your hard floors giving it a cleaner look, and yes this is also true! I’ve noticed with each pass the floor itself color is better and less dull looking. By far my favorite is the suction, if you have a busy household with large shedding dogs and your living in fur and don’t know what to do, buy this vacuum and save yourself some sanity! Best investment ever!

> 3 dayThis thing is great. Very modular, easy to get under beds and furniture. Has several break away parts that makes it very easy to clear clogged areas. The led light at the head are a nice quality of life feature, of not really necessary. The swivel neck is very nice. Everything thing about it 5 stars except with one con. The collection bin is on the small side. My home 2.4k square feet and less than half of that is carpeted. I own 6 cats and a dog granted, but when I vacuum the house I usually have to stop and empty the bin 4 to 7 times. Even then, that is one complaint compared to everything else that is awesome. I would recommend this to anyone that isnt using this for a mansion or industrial use like a business or college.

Greater than one weekI gave it 4/5 because it is heavy. It has great suction and its transformer abilities work great for different applications. We have a 70lb husky who sheds a lot. It does a great job with all his hair. I have been overall very happy but it is a heavy vacuum. I think my 75 year old mom would struggle with it. Just something to keep in mind.

> 3 dayEdit 6 months later: Seriously if you are looking for a vacuum that will suck all of the dog hair up this right here is it. This thing is a dream to use. I breaks down super well so it cleans easily. It sucks great never once had a clog. I try to vacuum once a week with two dogs that shed quiet a bit and this thing is just as good as the day it got here. Okay I know the title is a little over the top but Im dead serious. So heres my story... 4 years ago I bought a vacuum and was great for spitting whatever your vacuuming back at you unless you were on hardwood floors. I also researched that one for months before I picked it. Got rid of that vacuum and got a completely different vacuum brand style and all. Spent 6 months researching before I made my decision. That vacuum had to be unclogged every pass on the carpet practically and empty halfway through a room even if I vacuumed every day. Then after about 6 months parts started breaking left and right. So back to my research I go. I deep dived an googled and inquired with friends and googled some more and deep dived and googled some more and then I found this Glorious machine. Now this is what the other vacuums were against 2 clean adults we kept the house nice and anywhere from 0 to 2 dogs. All of our dogs are short hair. I vacuumed once a week to keep on top of things and make sure to give them a fighting chance. Now in comes this work horse. I was shocked thoroughly but the amount of dirt and dust and hair that came out of our low pile carpet. I actually vacuumed twice the first time to make sure I got it as best I could. Directly after I carpet cleaned. THERE WAS NO HAIR TUFTS PULLED UP ANYWHERE. Also this is the first vacuum I have ever had that didnt smell like I kicked up a tone of dust. I can honestly say it helps my allergies. Seriously get this vacuum. You will not regret it.

> 3 dayLove this Shark! Works great. I do need to add some attachments for under the furniture & such but overall it’s a great cleaning tool. Now to order more attachments & love cleaning. Even my kids can push & clean the floors with this one.

> 3 dayI like the suction and maneuverability of this vacuum. Its low profile lets me get under things that I could not get under with my old Dyson. It is not as wide as my old vacuum and I would have liked it to be a little wider.

Greater than one weekI like all the features of my Shark APEX Upright Vacuum with DuoClean for Carpet and HardFloor Cleaning, Zero-M Anti-Hair Wrap, & Powered Lift-Away with Hand Vacuum (AZ1002). BUT... the darn thing WEIGHS A TON for a handicapped person to push around the house. Its a monster for those of us with not a lot of upper-body strength or who have diminished lung capacity. Thank God the Powered-Lift Away feature allows the user to detach the canister and set it down next to the user. This makes it easier to push the remainder of the upright handle/powered roller head around the carpet, but you still need to pick up and reset the canister every few step to do so. It would have been good if they had some rollers on the canister for better mobility when lifted away. So happy not having a bag to replace. The canister allows you to open the bottom of the captured dust/debris container which falls directly into your waste bin. And the Zero-M seems to be actually removing any hair from the brush-roll so users don’t have to do it manually. The instructions say you must keep vacuuming for a bit to give this cleaning feature time to do its work. So its a wait-and-see process. If it keeps the hair from being wrapped around the brush-roller, I will be very thankful. Time will tell...! I also like the crevice tool and the compact powered pet head, both of which are handy for use on my furnishings and keeping the nooks and crannies of my home clean. Wish they were better attached to the body of the vacuum when not in use, but you cant have everything. But they do work WELL and are dead useful in my multiple pet home. This new Shark vacuum has been a game changer for me. I VERY much like how it performs out of the box, but the weight and design has me wondering if I can actually manage to use it every week without needing a time-out to rest after each room. Some of the non-handicapped reviewers noticed it was rather heavy for use! Handicapped persons may want to consider this issue, and see if a lighter option will fit their needs.

> 3 dayI LOVE this vacuum. It’s design and quality are amazing. But the older I get, the more impossible it is to do anything with the hose detached without the entire vacuum falling onto my feet. Ouch! The hose is too short and too rigid. The Liftaway feature is ok but ‘gets heavier’ with every passing year. They DID NOT include a round brush, which is critical to doing baseboards and surfaces higher than the floor. No other vacuum’s round brush fits this Shark model, and no adapter seems to exist on the market (I keep trying). But it’s otherwise the BEST vacuum I’ve ever owned, and I’ve had Kirby, Electrolux, Oxygen, two Orecks, and two Dysons. It’s a workhorse picking up anything on any surface, gets close to edges, actually dusts the floor, eats pet and human hair for breakfast, does a fab job under beds, is extremely versatile, seemingly emits nothing out (filters and holds well), doesn’t mar furniture, and is easily dump-outable, which I zip out to the garage garbage can to do. I’ve cleaned and replaced the filters and roller over time and bought spares for the future, with no problem.

> 3 dayThis is a beast of a vacuum! It is super at inhaling hair and debris from the edges of baseboards. When you switch from hard floor to carpet, you feel the brush kick on and it pulls you forward. It is very well made and worth the money!
