16-11-2024I have been a vacuum connoisseur since I was a teenager - my Mom kept a clean house and I inherited her enjoyment of a clean house. Vacuuming is my favorite house chore - it actually relaxes me, so I always enjoy having a great vacuum that is easy to use. Right now, we have four doggos - Husky/GSD/Malamute mix, Husky/GSD/Dingo mix, GSD/Cattledog mix, and a purebred Carolina Dog (American Dingo). As you can imagine - we have a LOT of fur around here. My dogs literally shed twice a year - six months in the spring and six months in the fall. :) I vacuum the entire house at least once a day and sometimes twice. Ive had several cordless vacs - two from Dyson, one from Bissell, and two from Shark. The Dysons were dismal at picking up fur, and the Bissell was worse. And dont even get me started on the robot vacuums - we have had four (Roombas, Bobi, and Eufy) - completely ineffective and a waste of money. I got my first Shark Rocket Pet Pro vacuum in 2017, and I cant say enough about it! I have vacuumed up tons of fur with it, and it has always had great suction, great power, and its easy to keep it clean. I just replace the filters on it every month or two, and thats all the maintenance it needs. That poor vacuum died last week (through no fault of its own). I spent three days researching cordless vacuums, and kept coming back to the Shark Rocket Pet Pro. I bought a second to replace the first, and am still in love with this vacuum. Bonus: The new one that I bought has the upgraded handle with the hook for the motor, so it can stand on its own and be easily stored. The ONLY issue I have with this vacuum (and its not a huge problem): The self-cleaning brushroll is AMAZING! But - I have to stop once in a while and pull a ball of white Husky fur out of the floor attachment - the hole behind the brushroll that takes the debris up the long rod to the dustcup gets clogged (I tried to show a picture of it). When this gets blocked, the vacuum wont pick anything up. Again, not a deal breaker, especially with the self-cleaning brushroll, but it is the one less-than-perfect aspect of this unit. And Im probably the only one in the world with this issue, because I have my beautiful fur-factory doggos running around here. :) Overall, I adore this cordless vac and will recommend it to everyone!

> 3 dayThis was the most expensive vacume Ive ever bought but I do not regret it at all. We got it for our camper trailer which has heavy carpet except for a small strip for the wood flooring in the kitchen and linoleum at the door and bathroom and this Shark doesnt care and it sucks up all the cat litter and the dry food they spill with great ease. The fact that it can be a handvac is a huge bonus as well. Very very easily take it outside and vacuum your cars or trucks. We havent used it for a long enough time to see if Sharks claim of the battery lasting 40 minutes per charge. (Complete) This is also the most smallest vacuum that fits with ease into our camper closet. Oh another expensive bonus is they have oodles of attachments you can buy for dang near anything you might to try to vacuum. Big thumbs up and depending how long it lasts, if a long time then I would buy another Shark without question.

> 3 dayVery nice vacuum! Recommended. Weve only had it a few days, but it is well made and seems to work well. However, I realized a short time ago that Im missing the dusting brush accessory. Amazons bot says they cannot send a missing accessory and that I should send the whole thing back. Ugh. All boxes have been recycled. Shark will sell me a dusting brush for $27 (probably plus shipping). Bummer. So, check your box carefully when you receive it.

> 3 dayI am so impressed with this vacuum. My hoover went kaput after several years. I decided to update my vacuum. I was pleased to read about a vacuum that will not get wraps of hair in the brush! I have very long hair. I have 5 dogs as well. Nearly every other cleaning I had to haul the vacuum unto the bed, get a plastic bag and scissors and cut the length of the brush line and pull out all that hair. I knew I wanted a plugless, battery charged, stick vacuum. When I discovered Shark had one that claims a new design that would not get hair caught in the brush, I had to try it. It really works!!! I love it, highly recommend it! It also has a trigger for extra power when needed. I require it doing the carpets in the room with all the hair. Shark has extra tools for special jobs. The only con I can say about my shark is when using the attachments it feels a bit awkward using the pet hair attachment when I use on my bed comforter and sheets. I may have to just get used to the aerodynamics. This Shark runs 4 times longer with a charge than my hoover.

21-11-2024I purchased this unit July 7, 2022. Today (1/25/23) I have had two calls directly with Shark trying to trouble shoot why the vacume stopped working (battery charged, works when not connected to the roller unit at bottom) So in approx 7 month the unit is not usable. In order to fix it I had to pay $48 (they gave me 50% discount and free shipping) because the floor part, with rollers, is not under warranty because the back roller turns and could be considered wear and tear. The customer service agent said Its so clean it looks brand new yet it is nnormal wear and tear. So, I would go somewhere else. To be fair, although noisey, it was great for the daily quick vacumes in the kitchen and m,ain floor of the house-(hardwood floors and throw rugs) Hope this helps you make a decision

> 3 dayGreat value. Was NOT heavy as some other reviews stated. Its a perfect balance of powerful and lightweight. The battery lasts a surprisingly long time. Easy to dump the canister. Filters are easy to clean. Do yourself a favor and get a few extra filters so that while one is drying after its rinsed, you can use the other immediately. You may want to get an extra battery as well (depending on how much you use it) so that you can always have a fresh battery ready to go. Absolutely excellent product!
