I have tried so many vacuums looking for one that isnt too heavy, is cordless and most important will pick up dog and cat hair. FINALLY I found a winner. This isnt a big monster vac with huge suction. Its a cordless, easy to use, and not heavy vacuum, and it does a great job picking up hair and dirt. It works on bare floors, low carpet, rugs, etc. Its easy to empty and take apart. Its very light too! I use this daily. Its truly a lifesaver as the hair and dirt was making me crazy! The time per charge is more than sufficient for me. If you need a big deep cleaning carpet machine this probably isnt for you. But for everyday cleaning, its FABULOUS!

I owned a dyson stick for several years and when it died I didn’t want to spend the money, especially after I felt the lifetime the dyson provided was not worth the money and lasted not as many years as my regular dyson had. Unfortunately, the shark has been a disappointment and I wish I had returned it. I have to disassemble the sweeper portion of the vacuum every other day to unclog it. I don’t know if this is because the suction is so weak that it can’t clear the head of debris or if the tube and connecting parts are of poor design. I’m not vacuuming anything out of the ordinary and it doesn’t get clogged by anything aside from dust, dirt, and dog hair. I’m not expecting it to suck up trash or wrappers. If I don’t pull the head apart and use my fingers to clear out the path from the floor portion to the stick then it will be completely clogged after 1-2 uses. Today after cleaning out the head all the dirt I was cleaning continued to fall out of the vacuum when turned off. I had to disassemble the actual debris storage area because it was so clogged on that end it wouldn’t collect anything else. Again, it appeared to be nothing large that would clog a vacuum, just dirt, animal hair, etc. but I had to pull out wads of it out of the vacuum because it wouldn’t shake into the trash and it wouldn’t clear it’s own clog. Again, not sure if this is a suction issue, a defective vacuum, or normal for this product. I would not purchase again.

Product performs as advertised. Really like having a portable vacuum for quick cleanups; no long cords to deal with. Only drawback: it is a little noisy. Still one of the best purchases I have made in a long time.

I purchased this unit July 7, 2022. Today (1/25/23) I have had two calls directly with Shark trying to trouble shoot why the vacume stopped working (battery charged, works when not connected to the roller unit at bottom) So in approx 7 month the unit is not usable. In order to fix it I had to pay $48 (they gave me 50% discount and free shipping) because the floor part, with rollers, is not under warranty because the back roller turns and could be considered wear and tear. The customer service agent said Its so clean it looks brand new yet it is nnormal wear and tear. So, I would go somewhere else. To be fair, although noisey, it was great for the daily quick vacumes in the kitchen and m,ain floor of the house-(hardwood floors and throw rugs) Hope this helps you make a decision

My Shark vacuum stopped holding a charge less than a year after purchase. When I called customer service about my device not holding a charge, I was asked to pay $20 plus $10 shipping for a new charger, as this was apparently not covered under the warranty. The new charger did not change the fact that my Shark vacuum does not hold a charge, so I called customer service again. Customer service said they would send me a new device, though I would have to pay ANOTHER $20 or $30 for shipping. This was two weeks ago and I have no new device nor even a tracking link to show for the exorbitant shipping fee I paid on top of paying for the useless new charger. Customer service is clearly set up to get the customer to spend even more money before they will bother to help you. I was impressed by the product while it worked but the nickel-and-diming from customer service has ensured that next time, I will purchase a Dyson.

    Greater than one week

Got this anti-allergen pet power shark vacuum on a Black Friday deal last week for $230 ($120) off original price. I’ve been waiting months for this to go on sale. I am very impressed with the quality and performance of this vacuum. We have 4 cats and a large dog (a lot of hair and dander) and this thing did a great job on our bare floors, carpets and throw rugs. Our previous vacuum was a moosoo cordless and while the vacuum was powerful (too powerful for throw rugs as is would pick them up unless i held them down with my foot) it didn’t pick up nearly as much hair and dander as this Shark does, plus the moosoo build quality was bad. The power fin brush roll is truly no hair tangle as no hair has gotten wrapped around it yet after a weeks use. I used it for 40 minutes straight and the battery still had a charge when i was done. Not sure how long it took to recharge but a couple hours after it was on the charger i noticed the leds were off indicating it was fully recharged. If your looking for a well built machine look no further. Get this one.

Just got this today. Easy to assemble. Only got two attachments instead of the What was shown. It works pretty good. This is my first cordless vacuum so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m a senior with arthritis in both wrists. Changing out the attachments were a little difficult for me and it weighed more than I thought it would. My son and husband helped me. I like the convenience of not dragging around a cord. It does charge quickly. If it were not for my arthritis I would probably be over the moon. That’s not Sharks fault. If only it were lighter…..

Overall, pleased with performance. Its louder than I expected. Works best on turbo. Battery life is sufficient to spend 30 minutes/day cleaning. We have 2 heavy shedding dogs and a cat. This works well on both the hardwoods and the carpet. WARNING: Even though the manual says you can rinse the dust cup, AND the Shark YouTube channel has a video showing you how to rinse it, dont do it! If you read the comments on the video, several users complain about water trapped between sections of the dust cup. If you call Shark they will tell you to only use a damp washcloth to clean out the dust cup. I unfortunately rinsed before seeing the comments and am hoping it will dry out so I dont have to buy a new dust cup.

Nice vacuum for quick cleaning small areas. Super handy when needing to reach to ceiling corners and narrow areas. Suction could be better, but it does fine as is.

Suction: I didnt expect this to compete with my full size Dyson, but it is still a little underwhelming. It is pretty much useless on even short carpet. It does decently well on hard floors, and is more comfortable to use than a handvac, but it still has about the same suction as my cheap oldschoool handvac. Battery life: Pretty good, I havent run out of juice yet when cleaning. Noise: Its very quiet compared to my other vacuums, a ball dyson, cheap handvac, shopvacs. Charging: I thought this one came with a dock, thats on me for not reading it well. Leaning it against the wall and hunting for the charging cable gets a little annoying when you only needed it for a 30 second job. Overall: I think I would have gone with the similar LG model.

The Shark Cordless Anti-Allergen Pet Power has incredible suction, a self-cleaning brushroll to eliminate hair wrap, and PowerFins technology for deep cleaning on carpets and floors. Engineered to emit clean air, Anti-Allergen Complete Seal technology is perfect for those sensitive to dust, allergens, and dander, keeping them out of the air you breathe.
