6 months ago I was looking for a cordless vacuum that could tackle all the shedding my dog, longhair cat and my boyfriend and I have and this has worked great! Its got really good suction and decent battery life too. It’s crazy how much it picks up even when you think your floors are clean. It has gotten clogged a couple times but thats mostly due from me trynna vaccumm up something I shouldn’t have. My only complaint is it states it comes with 4 attatchments yet I only received two.

I was never a fan of cordless, rechargeable vacuums....until now! I have a client that has a cordless vacuum, it isnt a Shark, but after several months I came to enjoy using it. Since using a cordless vacuum I realized how much easier it is then a corded vacuum. I have always liked the Shark vacuum cleaners; I have 2 corded Shark vacuums, an upright and a handheld, I like them both equally and these are upgrades from older Shark vacuums. I vacuum A LOT! I have a dog that sheds 24/7, 365 days a year and an indoor rabbit. One selling point with this cordless vacuum was the brush roll power fins. I have very long hair and it always got caught in the brush roll of the other vacuum. Ive attached 2 photos showing how clean the brush roll is AFTER I vacuumed my house. NOT ONE HAIR is stuck around the brush roll. The only thing that got caught was some dog fur around the tiny wheels; no big deal, I pulled those out with needle nose pliers. Some might say that this vacuum doesnt have the same suction power as the corded vacuums, well, the suction is good enough. No it isnt the same suction as a corded vacuum, but it is good enough. The filter needs to be kept clean to get full suction power, it doesnt clean itself. Others have complained that the battery doesnt last long enough. Fully charged, this vacuum will do my entire 3 bedroom rambler house. I like the light in front of the vacuum. The vacuum works very well on hardwood floors, area rugs and carpet.

Great value. Was NOT heavy as some other reviews stated. Its a perfect balance of powerful and lightweight. The battery lasts a surprisingly long time. Easy to dump the canister. Filters are easy to clean. Do yourself a favor and get a few extra filters so that while one is drying after its rinsed, you can use the other immediately. You may want to get an extra battery as well (depending on how much you use it) so that you can always have a fresh battery ready to go. Absolutely excellent product!

I’m 75 years old and have owned more vacuum cleaners than I care to think about. I purchased another brand cordless vacuum stick last month and really liked it until it died after just a few weeks… Researching for a replacement with better reliability, I found this wonderful Shark Vacuum Stick…. My initial impression was that it’s a bit heavy and slightly clunky compared to the Samsung model I just returned, but after using this baby a few times I love it. It’s AWESOME! This Shark does a great job cleaning my dark brown bamboo floors and the area rugs in my 3000 square foot house without recharging. The Samsung had to recharge after about 1500 sq Ft. Emptying the large dirt bin isn’t an unpleasant experience, and after releasing the motor/canister from the stick I was impressed with how easy disassembly and reassembly went… At my age, dust on baseboards and chair rails, as well as some dirt in corners and other hard to reach areas has become the norm. My Roomba and the corded uprights just couldn’t get those hard to reach areas on the floors, and it’s just too hard on my knees and back to crawl around more than a few times each year. I found accessories on all upright cleaners too awkward and difficult to use…. but I was inspired by the Shark’s light weight and gave it a try… All I can say is WOW! Baseboards, corners and close to furniture and cabinets are now spotless! My house hasn’t been this clean in a long time… Best of all, I’m not exhausted from the task. LOVE my Shark cordless stick vacuum!!! Time will tell about long-term reliability and battery life. Some good news I found in my research… the replacement battery cost for the Shark is about half the cost of a Samsung battery. Next time this vacuum goes on sale I’ll be buying several as presents for friends and family! My advice is buy two or three of these…. One for yourself and one for your elderly parents/grandparents… they’ll love it and thank you for it! UPDATE**** Still going strong at about 4 months use. I ordered an extra battery, which is easily swapped out. Just push a button and the battery releases. I was given two Dyson V6 cordless vacuums by a neighbor who isn’t very mechanically inclined … The Dyson isn’t the latest model, but a comparison: After ordering aftermarket batteries, it was easy to remove a few screws and replace the originals. The Shark is quieter, easier to use, and definitely easier to swap a spare battery. The Dyson is a bit prettier, and may have slightly more suction, although it’s only a one speed suction. Both will get the job done. If you want to impress someone else, get a Dyson. If you want a better all around machine at a good price, get the Shark.

I was considering buying a third dyson, but then realized I would be buying a third dyson and switched to shark and I’m so glad I did. Having a German Shepherd, my shark vacuum has been a lifesaver.

I have been a vacuum connoisseur since I was a teenager - my Mom kept a clean house and I inherited her enjoyment of a clean house. Vacuuming is my favorite house chore - it actually relaxes me, so I always enjoy having a great vacuum that is easy to use. Right now, we have four doggos - Husky/GSD/Malamute mix, Husky/GSD/Dingo mix, GSD/Cattledog mix, and a purebred Carolina Dog (American Dingo). As you can imagine - we have a LOT of fur around here. My dogs literally shed twice a year - six months in the spring and six months in the fall. :) I vacuum the entire house at least once a day and sometimes twice. Ive had several cordless vacs - two from Dyson, one from Bissell, and two from Shark. The Dysons were dismal at picking up fur, and the Bissell was worse. And dont even get me started on the robot vacuums - we have had four (Roombas, Bobi, and Eufy) - completely ineffective and a waste of money. I got my first Shark Rocket Pet Pro vacuum in 2017, and I cant say enough about it! I have vacuumed up tons of fur with it, and it has always had great suction, great power, and its easy to keep it clean. I just replace the filters on it every month or two, and thats all the maintenance it needs. That poor vacuum died last week (through no fault of its own). I spent three days researching cordless vacuums, and kept coming back to the Shark Rocket Pet Pro. I bought a second to replace the first, and am still in love with this vacuum. Bonus: The new one that I bought has the upgraded handle with the hook for the motor, so it can stand on its own and be easily stored. The ONLY issue I have with this vacuum (and its not a huge problem): The self-cleaning brushroll is AMAZING! But - I have to stop once in a while and pull a ball of white Husky fur out of the floor attachment - the hole behind the brushroll that takes the debris up the long rod to the dustcup gets clogged (I tried to show a picture of it). When this gets blocked, the vacuum wont pick anything up. Again, not a deal breaker, especially with the self-cleaning brushroll, but it is the one less-than-perfect aspect of this unit. And Im probably the only one in the world with this issue, because I have my beautiful fur-factory doggos running around here. :) Overall, I adore this cordless vac and will recommend it to everyone!

July 19, 2022: I have a corded Shark that I love, but I dont get it out often enough because of the cord. So I bought the cordless. I keep it in the kitchen and use it daily. VERY convenient, easy to use, my long hair and the cat hair are not a problem. I usually end up vacuuming everything once I get started, so the floors are looking much better. The only issue I have is emptying the receptacle. I empty after each use and I usually have to use my fingers to get the last of the hair/dirt out. THATs kinda yucky. But I love the convenience and the cleaning power, so Ill learn to live with that issue. Ive owned it about six weeks - I will update, if needed, as time go by. Sept 25, 2022 Hair is stuck around the front small wheels and we had a terrible time getting the wheels off and putting them back in. Did some checking on amazon and wheels are not available for purchase. The wheels on this unit are thicker on one side than the other. All wheels on amazon have the same width for axle. I checked the Shark website and the wheels are not shown as available.

I bought this vacuum on sale, and I’ve been using it for over 6 months. So, I will say that you should probably wait for their sale. I do not see the difference comparing to the Dyson. I use it on higher power all the time, and never had problem with battery.

The Shark Cordless Anti-Allergen Pet Power has incredible suction, a self-cleaning brushroll to eliminate hair wrap, and PowerFins technology for deep cleaning on carpets and floors. Engineered to emit clean air, Anti-Allergen Complete Seal technology is perfect for those sensitive to dust, allergens, and dander, keeping them out of the air you breathe.
