It works wonderfully both suction power and the added turbo switch helps out a lot . If you have dogs or cats this is the vacuum for you it picks up hair from all corners of the house great product thinking of buying another for the lake house.

WOW!!!! I bought this after my Hoover stick vacuum (R.I.P) died after years of good service but this Shark is the BEST! It picks up the dirt, fur, feathers, hair, whatever and even works great on carpets. It can go under couches, chairs, tables, in corners just about anywhere. Then you just pop off the top off it and its a hand held vac. It runs off a single charge long enough for me to get my whole house done (2700 sq. ft.) and the beauty is that Im not dragging a cord along with me. I love it, so much so that I bought one for my son and his wife. Highly recommend this vac.

You will need to order an extra battery if you use to vacuum entire house.

I was considering buying a third dyson, but then realized I would be buying a third dyson and switched to shark and I’m so glad I did. Having a German Shepherd, my shark vacuum has been a lifesaver.

6 months ago I was looking for a cordless vacuum that could tackle all the shedding my dog, longhair cat and my boyfriend and I have and this has worked great! Its got really good suction and decent battery life too. It’s crazy how much it picks up even when you think your floors are clean. It has gotten clogged a couple times but thats mostly due from me trynna vaccumm up something I shouldn’t have. My only complaint is it states it comes with 4 attatchments yet I only received two.

This vacuum is good for vacuuming bare floors like linoleum and standard carpet. This vacuum is not good for shag or high carpet though. If you are looking for a vacuum that’s easy to use and easy to store then this vacuum is great. If you are looking for one vacuum that does it all then this vacuum is not for you. This vacuum has helped me stay on top of my chores. Before vacuuming was exhausting. Had to lug the giant thing out, mess with cords, stop and adjust the knob often, and couldn’t vacuum bare floors. But this new vacuum I can pop it out of the closet vacuum my bathroom, kitchen, and dining room in a couple minutes before I shower. The only thing that has got caught in the vacuum is when I’ve accidentally ran over bobby-pins. Hair has not got stuck at all. This vacuum moves easy so you can get under and between chairs easy. It has a light so you can see the floor. The attachments come off easily with a button. Easy to clean out. The battery dosent die absurdly fast and it has lights to show you how charged it is. Comes with a few attachments but you can get additional attachments or batteries or replacements on shark.com.

Just got this today. Easy to assemble. Only got two attachments instead of the What was shown. It works pretty good. This is my first cordless vacuum so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m a senior with arthritis in both wrists. Changing out the attachments were a little difficult for me and it weighed more than I thought it would. My son and husband helped me. I like the convenience of not dragging around a cord. It does charge quickly. If it were not for my arthritis I would probably be over the moon. That’s not Sharks fault. If only it were lighter…..

First.. its time to throw the box out. It works well and there is no unit damage or faulty functioning. But there are a few things of which folks should be aware. One of the reasons I bought this vacuum was because it would fit below my sectional. Unfortunately, it will only go about 10 under because of a storage bracket for the handheld portion situated near the bottom. Additionally, the vacuum is very top heavy and wont stand up on its own when the unit is together. It needs to be laid down unless one wants to take it apart every time they want to rest it -- even if just to move a piece of furniture. And, although weights were given, I underestimated how heavy the top handheld vac portion is to use -- either when fully put together or on its own. In regular vacs, the weight is at the bottom, rests on the floor, and they will stand upright on their own. This unit will not. [I also never got the hepa filters on vacs which had no bag to catch the dirt, debris, dust. As soon as one goes to empty the container it flies everywhere. ] But, in terms of functioning, it does a great job. It has great suction power and the charge LASTS! The swiveling floor head gets into many corners and around furniture legs. Its also been some time since Ive used a vacuum with a light. It really does make a difference!

This shark attempts to copy the Dyson in many areas. Some things are ok and others not so great. This is a pet vacuum to begin. See the attached pic of the two front rollers jammed with hair. Brilliant, the roller bar doesnt get hair stuck but the wheels that help it roll get jammed?! This happens day one not months into cleaning. Not so well thought out. This needs to be redesigned and recall the current vacuum head. That aside everything else is fine except suction could be better. The standard setting is weakish while the full power mode works pretty well but zaps the battery pretty quick. Ohh and no tool storage means youll be trying to figure that out next. The vacuum is ok if its on super sale and I mean way less than its Dyson rival. I would probably have returned it if I kept the box and spent more on the Dyson. I have a plug Dyson ball and zero issues. So after reading this if you purchase, just keep the box so if it doesnt work out send it back in the return window. The vacuum does work and if it could overcome these few things it would be a really good vacuum. But as is be aware. **** update: 3 months owning this. Bought a dyson. Still own the shark, but it’s now just a crevice vac. Pet hair messes up the rollers and leaves big lines in the carpet. The rollers can be cleaned sort of by ripping them out. But so often?? We’ll see how the newest dyson stick does. This didn’t cut it. ****

I have had an oreck vacuum for years and years. I love it for its cleaning power. BUT its loud and heavy. And you have to get it serviced every 2 years. Of course that may be the reason Ive had it for year and years. Plus did I mention that its loud. We live in a 2 story house now and I wanted a lightweight vacuum that I could easily lug up and down the stairs. Thus I thought Id try the shark. Overall, its extremely lightweight and maneuverable. I love that its also a reasonable decibel when you turn it on. The battery (I have the 50 min one) seems to last for me to do most of my downstairs (2000sq ft) as long as I am efficient. Its cleaning power, however, is not ideal. Anything over basic dust and dirt just gets pushed around. With kids in the house, this mean tiny pieces of paper or leaves or grass or pencil erasers or lego pieces, just get pushed around. I think this vacuum is better designated as a sweeper than a true vacuum. Its fine for when the dog drags in dirt oo the kids soccer cleats drop something, but as the way to clean my entire floor - not so much. And on carpets, again its more a sweeper than a vacuum to clean. Im pretty disappointed b/c now I have 3 vacuums to deal with and store and I had been hoping this purchase would consolidate. Guess its time to take the Oreck to be serviced again since Im not getting rid of it any time soon.
