> 3 dayDo you have a pet that sheds so much on a weekly basis you could make whole liters of new pets from their hair? GET THIS VACUUM. I love my dog but the shedding is excessive, on every surface. If you want to seamlessly vacuum wood floors and go right onto carpet with the push of a button - THIS vacuum does that. If you want a vacuum that gets into spaces you normally can’t - THIS ONE. If you want to stop spending HOURS every week sweeping your floor, this one will save you time and back pain! The one downside is it is a little on the heavier side but I think the weight helps it pick up as much as it does. I don’t mind getting a little workout in while the floor is being cleaned!

> 3 dayreally excited when this came and then... put together was good other than wand would not stay in place in main unit, found that tab was stuck and had to giggle it loose to catch (SHOULD have just boxed it back up and sent it back BIG MISTAKE to not do) Then found on first use on carpet there is a short in the electrical cord somewhere so during use the brush feature will turn itself off and I have to giggle or pull on the cord to get it to start again - MAJOR ISSUE. Box got thrown away (efficient husband) before I realized what an issue this vacuum is. My son has one and never had any issues so thats why I got this one. Its just the luck of the draw I guess for poor quality workmanship and quality control.

Greater than one weekThis is by far the best vacuum I’ve ever owned. It actually makes vacuuming easy, enjoyable and a breeze. I like to vacuum in the dark, lol, because the lights really show the dirt/pet hair! My floors were so dirty! I didn’t even realize how dirty they were! The vacuum is amazing on hard surfaces and does just as well on carpet/rugs. Buy. The. Vac. You’ll be glad you did!

Greater than one weekI was very excited to upgrade to a this ZU782 Shark. That has been short lived and I am hoping I get used to it and it gets better. Right of the bat, it is heavier than my previous vacuum and much harder to maneuver. I have hit baseboards more than once. It suctions really well and that is the only thing I am finding super positive. Very disappointed in the attachments and there are no others to buy. My old one had a brush type attachment that allowed me to suction the top of the baseboards and such while kind of scrubbing the dirt up to be suctioned. None of the attachments allow that. It comes with 3 attachments but there are only places for two of them on your vacuum. Also using the attachments is awkward. It isnt just attaching to the hose, you have to remove the top half that is like a miniature vacuum and it doesnt allow you to get into tight spaces under furniture. Using a hose was much better but not possible with this model. All in all, I wish I had bought something different.

> 3 dayIt does the job but is very heavy and difficult to maneuver. You really cannot get under tables, beds ect. The accessories that come with it are just okay. I was looking for a vacuum that I could use to vacuum carpeted stairs. I figured since you could detach the base, this would be helpful, but the accessories that it comes with are not very good.

> 3 dayThis is the best vacuum I have tried hands down, bar none! I have had many, many vacuums over the years and recently tried a Dyson...nope, I didnt like it and sent it back. I have an inexpensive Shark I bought almost six years ago that is still running strong, but wanted a more powerful model. Wow...I absolutely love this one! It is a little heavy for me, but hey, Im old, LOL! I have an Australian Cattle Dog, and he sheds so much; every speck is sucked up. This vacuum is THE BOMB! Would highly recommend! I

> 3 dayVacuum has amazing suction and works very well but is very awkward. I am a grown 200 pound man and its a little dificult manuvering for me so if you are a female or older person i would say this is definetly not the vacuum for you. All in all i do like it though.

Greater than one week***ATTENTION*** 3-30-21 I HAVE FIGURED OUT WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS UNIT. THE FILTER BEING CONE SHAPED RESULTS IN ONLY THE VERY TOP OF THE FOAM FILTER ACTUALLY DOING ANYTHING. THIS MEANS A VERY SMALL PORTION OF THE FILTER GETS CLOGGED UP WITH DUST AND THE LARGEST PART OF THE FILTER DOES NOTHING. SO AFTER USING THE VACUUM TWO OR THREE TIMES THE FILTER BECOMES CLOGGED RESULTING IN VERY VERY POOR SUCTION. ONCE THE FILTER IS CLOGGED UP THE VACUUM NO LONGER CLEANS CARPETS OR RUGS, RATHER IT GRINDS THE DIRT DOWN DEEP INTO THE FIBERS. THE ONLY WAY TO COMBAT THIS IS TO BUY ANOTHER FILTER AND SWITCH THEM AS SOON AS IT LOOKS DIRTY OR PULL THE FILTERS AND CLEAN THEM AFTER EVERY 2ND OR 3RD USE. ***THIS IS100% DO NOT BUY A SHARK VACUUM WITH A CONE SHAPED FOAM FILTER.*** I had been extremely satisfied with our original shark purchase approximately ten years ago. It is the white professional version of the lift away series i believe. We still use it in our basement. It has been a top notch performer from day one. We couldnt have been more satisfied with it. So i was certain we would be getting an even better unit this time around! I couldnt have been more wrong. My wife noticed right away that this new unit lacked the suction of the old by quite a bit. It left dog hair on our only rug. We have a white dog and dark area rug so its hard to miss. I brushed it off thinking that she must not have been using the right settings. Until recently when i used the vacuum myself. What a hunk of junk this thing is! We literally have one 7x10 area rug and this thing left dog hair everywhere. I spent a half hour trying to get it all off. Trying both rollers on, one roller on. The air dam closed, a little open, all the way open. I checked the filters, everything. NOTHING WORKED!!!! So i got the old vacuum and yep. It picked it right up. Every last piece of hair was gone. What ive found is that this vacuum does a great job on the hardwood but is just awful on any kind of carpets. I went back over the 7x10 area rug i had just spent 30 minutes on with our old vacuum and picked up another half canister of dust and hair that the new one had been grinding down into the rug. Not only that but there was a ton of sand UNDERNEATH the rug itself! This never happened with the old shark vacuum. We would lift the rug once a month and there would be a dusting of fine sand not a sandbox like this left. Sadly our return window has closed on this hunk of junk. So ive got to eat the $350 i spent on it. The old shark is no longer produced either so i guess well have to give dyson a try this time around.
