easy to set up and pairs well with alexa, using it on a living room light and is very convenient.

I got 4 of them. I have had great experience with cheapest of smartplugs so I was overconfident. These are the worst. Only after a day of setting them up they may not be found by any app and you get “server not responsive”, reset and it is again found for 5 hours. Smart devices are worthless if one can’t rely on them. This was my worst purchase ever.

Be aware these are not Plug and Play. I returned them after multiple, and I mean multiple, times trying to get them to work and to work separately to control four different electrical items.

I have these in my house in florida and can turn different lights on and off using Alexia app giving the the house a lived in look.

To use this device you must download the Gosund app and connect the Gosund app to your Amazon account to be able to use the voice command feature of Alexa. I have been able to connect the plug to the app on my phone as well as to Alexa. I still have to manually turn on the devices because the app and voice commands do not turn on the devices. The app and Alexa can turn off the devices, but will not turn them back on.

These plugs are easy to set up, work exactly as expected and dont require a hub (you can control with an app).

I used the smartplug to to connect my laptop to my audio speaker and it works perfect. I love ❤ music.
