I needed something to help me from going under my desk every time I had to turn my string lights in. This works perfect.

Half of them didnt work out of the box. Sent them back and ordered again with same results. I would say my skill level is above average and I easily got them set up and paired. After a few days some of them stopped working with Alexa. Even using the Alexa app it would seem like everything is fine but turning it on and off did nothing to the plug. From the gosund app it will turn on and off but my routines are set up through Alexa so that is not really helpful. All of my lights go off at bedtime except the ones plugged into these plugs. I dont believe that it is human error because they were working properly for a few days and then just stopped.

I have only been using these for a couple of weeks but so far Im very pleased. They fit the outlet nicely and allow me to use not only the two smart plugs but they dont overlap and thereby disable the other outlet on the same plug. So far they are very reliable and havent dropped the signal once. They respond quickly to either voice command (using with Alexa via Echo Dot) or using the apps (either Alexa or the native app). They were easily connected to my wifi set up, just remember you will probably have to disable your 5g temporarily to connect to 2.4 as almost all these type products run off 2.4. It was fast and simple to get connected and the reliability has been the best of my smart plugs and bulbs so far.

I use and rely on these to turn on and off my bearded dragons heat lamp/uvb lights. They have malfunctioned more than once. It literally is set to go on and off at the same time. Every day. And my bearded dragon went without heat for I’m not sure how long the other day. Yesterday they didn’t turn on at all, and tonight they failed to shut off on time. Idk if there’s a way to fix it but this to me is not reliable at all!

Both of the units I received do not work as smart outlets. I tried connecting each of them via the SmartLife app and Gosund app. I was connected to the correct network and using the correct login credentials, but each attempt to add the devices failed. Seems like many people have had success with these, I guess you will just need to test them while they are still within the return window in case you get defective units.

I bought the outlets because I have a rental property that’s vacant at times so the idea was to be able to control a few lamps when I’m away to make it look not so vacant. Nope.. the outlets work fine when im connected to the WiFi at the property but when I’m away and try to use them they constantly say offline. Maybe its spoty WiFi that disconnects when I’m away idk but I wouldn’t purchase again.

Worked as expected. Nice to have it as a plug extender too. Ive got a light and fan setup on one plug now, super easy to get configured (once you download their app and enable it in Alexa.)
