Useless because it doesnt connect to 5G wifi which is standard.

Both of the units I received do not work as smart outlets. I tried connecting each of them via the SmartLife app and Gosund app. I was connected to the correct network and using the correct login credentials, but each attempt to add the devices failed. Seems like many people have had success with these, I guess you will just need to test them while they are still within the return window in case you get defective units.

I bought this for my classroom but due to wifi restrictions, I was unable to use it. The instruction manual did not say to download the app and setup a account. Then you have to link to Alexa.

These plugs had no directions so 3 different people tried to install them. No one could do I’m sending them back

This device did not incorporate the voice command with my Google Mini and the applications on my phone. I know how this technology works, its not rocket science. I downloaded the device app, linked it to the Google Assistant and Home apps, I even saw the names I assigned to the plugs from the parent app. The darn thing just wouldnt accept the voice command sent to the Mini device. The Amazon customer service person was nice, but wanted me to go through half a dozen steps to troubleshoot the problem. I chose to send it back and try something different.

These things fall off the wifi almost immediately. They’ll reconnect intermittently but are almost always offline. That makes their easy to use Alexa integration worthless:(

This item requires download of external app, and I was not comfortable with information requested for its use. I tried for over an hour to link to Amazon without success.

I needed this months ago. LoL Someone finally got smart and made a smart plug that does take up a lot of space or over laps another plug spot, has two plugs, and can be controlled by either voice or the push of a button. I also love that it was a double pack.

This pretty much does exactly what is says. I just took it out the box and followed the directions and that was it! Works great with Alexa
