The receptacle keeps losing its internet connection. So my light keeps going off and on.

Love that you can control either individually or both together. Was easy to install using the SmartLife app, which I use for several other smart plugs. Would recommend.

The paper that comes with this tells you to download Our app but does not tell you which app it is. tried three different apps that might be related to this smart plug. App 1 couldnt connect to Alexa. App 2 couldnt find the plugs. App 3 could connect to alexa and could find the plugs but after three hours of troubleshooting I still couldnt get the plugs to connect to alexa via the app. I no longer care. Im throwing them away. waste of time and money.

I needed something to help me from going under my desk every time I had to turn my string lights in. This works perfect.

I got 4 of them. I have had great experience with cheapest of smartplugs so I was overconfident. These are the worst. Only after a day of setting them up they may not be found by any app and you get “server not responsive”, reset and it is again found for 5 hours. Smart devices are worthless if one can’t rely on them. This was my worst purchase ever.

I have these in my house in florida and can turn different lights on and off using Alexia app giving the the house a lived in look.

I bought this for my classroom but due to wifi restrictions, I was unable to use it. The instruction manual did not say to download the app and setup a account. Then you have to link to Alexa.

If you plan on connecting to Alexa, dont create your Gosund account using Google (or Facebook) log in. I wasnt able to sign in to the Gosund account during the process of linking Gosund and Alexa. I almost returned the plugs out of frustration. It doesnt give you information that this may be a problem nor does it give you the option to login via Google or Facebook during the linking process. I had to disconnect the smartplug, log out of the Gosund app and create a new Gosund account with a different email and password. It linked very easily then.

I literally have one of the plugs sitting 3’ from my extender. Another that’s 20’ away. The one closest does not stay connected. The other one works great and integrated easily with my Google home. If you don’t mind opening the app to “wake” up the connection then these will work. But if you want to use Google home, they are not the greatest. I use these every single day for my scentsy warmers.
