Unfortunately, you have to download their app and then integrate them into Alexa. That all made me like them only 4 stars. THEN, day two, they just decided to not work any more. I tried opening their app and checked... couldnt get them to work with any ease and decided 2 stars was quite generous. Maybe if youre not using Alexa, theyd be okay. But I need/want them to work with Alexa, easily and dependably. Not what I got with these.

I honestly love this using it for my lamp! Only complaint is the initial setup not being too easy. But if you got patience its worth it! Might buy more!

To use this device you must download the Gosund app and connect the Gosund app to your Amazon account to be able to use the voice command feature of Alexa. I have been able to connect the plug to the app on my phone as well as to Alexa. I still have to manually turn on the devices because the app and voice commands do not turn on the devices. The app and Alexa can turn off the devices, but will not turn them back on.

I bought the outlets because I have a rental property that’s vacant at times so the idea was to be able to control a few lamps when I’m away to make it look not so vacant. Nope.. the outlets work fine when im connected to the WiFi at the property but when I’m away and try to use them they constantly say offline. Maybe its spoty WiFi that disconnects when I’m away idk but I wouldn’t purchase again.

Love that you can control either individually or both together. Was easy to install using the SmartLife app, which I use for several other smart plugs. Would recommend.

This device did not incorporate the voice command with my Google Mini and the applications on my phone. I know how this technology works, its not rocket science. I downloaded the device app, linked it to the Google Assistant and Home apps, I even saw the names I assigned to the plugs from the parent app. The darn thing just wouldnt accept the voice command sent to the Mini device. The Amazon customer service person was nice, but wanted me to go through half a dozen steps to troubleshoot the problem. I chose to send it back and try something different.
