I’m giving this product 1 star based on my frustration in trying to get this plug set up. I followed all the instructions provided and could not get the plug to sync up after several resets. I will be sending these back because they’re not working for me.

Worked as expected. Nice to have it as a plug extender too. Ive got a light and fan setup on one plug now, super easy to get configured (once you download their app and enable it in Alexa.)

To set these up you have to use an app that has ads pushing more of their product in a pop-up every time you open it, product feels very cheap and leaves me concerned about fire hazard, and most of these reviews are very blatantly bots/spam.

Product was easy to install, and I especially like the ability to utilize each plug independently. Had a power outage last night and plugs were still connected when the power returned. Alexa skills were added after installing and adding the outlets to the Smart Life app, making the plugs easy to operate by Alexas voice command feature. These also require 2.4 Ghz Wifi as most smart home products do. Very pleased with this item and I will be purchasing more of these items as the need arises.

We had seen a Tiktok on a different model of outlets through Gosund. I guess they were bought out or something? I couldn’t find them on here again. I went to their app and went to their store and it directly brought me to this on Amazon under a different name. Nonetheless we love these products. We bought this set and I love them more than the round single one we bought previously!

Works fine on the app but when I try to link it to Alexa it wont recognize my account information so you cant enable it on Alexa.

If you plan on connecting to Alexa, dont create your Gosund account using Google (or Facebook) log in. I wasnt able to sign in to the Gosund account during the process of linking Gosund and Alexa. I almost returned the plugs out of frustration. It doesnt give you information that this may be a problem nor does it give you the option to login via Google or Facebook during the linking process. I had to disconnect the smartplug, log out of the Gosund app and create a new Gosund account with a different email and password. It linked very easily then.
