Easy to set-up and works well. But, they should make it clear that reading updates can take up to an hour, I thought one sensor was broken until I found this information.

The unit works well, my only issue with the device(software) is that while the sensors report every 5 minutes when you export the data it lists only on the hour. i.e. 08:00, 09:00, etc. The exported data is reported in GMT and Celsius only.

Out of the box this had batteries installed on the remote sensors which was nice. I plugged in the hub via ethernet into the home router. I have one unit in a fridge and there are no signal issues reaching the sensor as well as the freezer in the garage. Range appears good....signal strength in fridge which is upstairs is still -77dBm). The signal strength for the other sensor directly upstairs from router is -52 dBm). No issues or concerns having these dispursed either in something or further away from the house router. Functionality is also easy to set up alerts or see charts with the data. knocked one star off for lack of ability to enable a push for an updated temp from the sensor. The booklet has the requirements for for a refresh based on one of 6 conditions...otherwise its 1 time per hour. I would prefer a SW update that enables a manual refresh.

The YoLink app is simple, easy to use, and very straight forward. Pairing new devices is easy, and the information is easy to read. The hub was also easy to connect with my Google Assistant. In general I would recommend the YoLink system to anyone setting up a smart home. HOWEVER... My primary focus when buying this base set which included the YoLink Hub, and 2 Temperature / Humidity Sensors was to have my Google Assistant (and IFTTT) read information from these sensors and preform automated actions. Much to my disappointment, these sensors are among the few YoLink devices that are NOT directly compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. There is an alarm feature that CAN be linked with IFTTT, but it is extremely limited. Once again, The YoLink system itself is genuinely nice and easy to use / connect with other services. My only complaint is that SOME devices are not compatible with all features. While the sensors I have don’t do exactly what I needed, I am keeping them and the YoLink hub as I will use it for other sensors I plan to purchase in the future.

I bought this because we have a stand alone freezer in our basement. We had an instance where the door was somehow not closed all the way and we lost a lot of food. I had been searching for a device to alarm us if the temperature dropped in the future. Im an old guy and did have a couple of snags in initial setup, totally my inability toread directions. I attribute that to being a man! Thankfully the support I received from YoLink was the best support I have ever received for anything I have ever bought. Thanks to the guys at YoLink, I have an up and running unit connected to Alexa as well! Thank you!

I have two of these. One placed in each of my deep freezers. They have been online for a year in a zero-degree environment without an issue. Yolink is unique in that they have a long-range and each sensor doesnt add another wifi radio to my house. Yolink also provides the ability to receive text messages as well as notifications through their app.

After losing an entire freezer of meat, I wish I bought it before. I can see Temps any time and get an alert if it gets warm.

I had recently placed a negative review of this product. However, after more attempts, we DID get it to work (via cable) and so far it is working well. I really WOULD recommend, though, that your modem has a free plug-in place. That was our problem before; getting it connected Wi-Fi can be a challenge. For now, I have freed up a place on my modem to plug in the hub, and getting the device set up and working took a little bit, but now it seems to be working fine.

We travel during the winter and want to insure our home is above freezing. So far the sensors and program are working well

First, setup was very easy. After calibrating all of the sensors (I have 7 total) I put one in each room and one outside. I can now check the temperature in each room from anywhere. Theres only two issues Ive had so far. 1) after setting up the hub, it downloaded a couple hundred GB of data from the internet. I checked the firmware for all of the sensors and the hub but they were all up to date. Id like to know what all that data was for. 2) it works with Alexa... as long as you only want to know the temperature. It doesnt show the humidity and you cant use it as a trigger to turn on the dehumidifier when the basement humidity gets to 45% or to turn on the fan when the room gets to 74°F, for example.
