> 24 hourNo complaints. This little thing works perfectly on mahogany, but probably requires a drill press, which is what we used.

> 24 hourWhen set up in the drill press with a positive stop, this cutter reproduces perfect plugs from hardwoods.

> 24 hourI bought this to cut plugs for Trex decking. They cut fine, but have very little taper so putting them into screw holes is difficult. I followed instructions to cut from the non-finished surface to the finished surface, but still ended up with blisters trying to hold them for tapping in. Again, the plugs are nice but another half degree of taper would improve the design.

> 24 hourCuts nice plugs. Use to cut face grain plugs, which look much better.

> 24 hourMore junk. Completely dull. Doesn’t even come close to cutting a decent plug.

> 24 hourThe first thing I noticed was the finish was rough and did not have the matte or semi-glossy sheen of other plug cutters I have had in the past (and the one thats pictured). There were little bits of white gradoo stuck in the crevices like it had not been cleaned before packing. I wonder if a final step in the manufacturing process had been skipped. When I went to use it in my drill press, it seemed to need a lot of force to work into the wood. It also squealed and chattered. I honed the cutting edges which seemed to help a little, but sometimes it cuts well and sometimes it chatters like crazy., not sure why. Im considering throwing it out and trying something else, but it does work, just obnoxiously, so I guess Ill use it for now.

> 24 hourI would like it to cut a little longer plugs. But it does fine cutting 3/8” long plugs.

> 24 hourCuts a perfect sized plug. Others I have used are all slightly oversized making insertion difficult.
