Snappy Tools Plug Cutter, 3/8

> 3 dayFirst off... this is my first plug cutter so I dont have previous experience with plug cutters that I am comparing this to. I bought this cutter to cover a dozen or so screws in a stair handrail project I was working on and it turned out great. My only complaint is that it was not very sharp. It required a bit of force and it seemed to burn its way into the wood rather than cut. Maybe red oak is a little hard for this cutter? Maybe Ill try sharpening it before the next time I use it? Overall this cutter served its purpose and helped me complete my project. I wouldnt expect this to last for a lot of uses but for a few small projects and for the price its more than adequate.

> 3 dayIt worked good it does waste a lot of wood. The size it cuts is dead on or at least it matched my bit perfectly or a bit tight. Im happy with it.
