When this speaker succeeds in connecting it is very satisfactory. Some days it connects on the first try, but other days it takes several tries, or wont connect at all. The laptop, speaker and router are all in the same room, so distance is not the problem. It turns out the connection problem is with the Acer laptop and has been discussed a lot on the internet. The Flare mini connects instantly and flawlessly with both my Galaxy phone and tab. The sound is quite good and the speaker pairs easily with a second speaker My only quibble is that its not possible to know the charge level. Its not a major problem as long as its charged daily since its battery life seems extensive. I have yet to draw it down to shutoff.

I bought this Anker Flare Mini as a Christmas present for my friend. It was able to immediately connect to her Google Pixel 4a with no problem and we were both pretty impressed with how good the sound quality was for such a compact, inexpensive speaker! She also really loves the lights on the bottom, and you can cycle through a few different colors/patterns. It comes with a short microUSB cable for charging, short enough that I assume they want you to just charge it with a laptop USB port. It does not come with an AC charging adapter, however, just the little microUSB cable. That is my only minor complaint, but for this price, its hard to beat the overall look, impressive sound quality, super fast and easy setup, and the nice little lightshow you get with it. The battery life claims up to 12 hours of usage, but the little pamphlet you get with it even says it can get up to 18 hours of battery life, so it really just comes down to what volume level you set it at. I would definitely buy one of these in the future, especially since you can actually connect two of them together for stereo sound. The volume is able to get pretty loud, and it sounds great in all directions. And I can definitely recommend it to anyone, including older people or kids because of how easy it is to setup and connect to bluetooth. Very satisfied and will definitely consider Anker bluetooth speakers in the future, even over Ultimate Ears and JBL.

I use this speaker at work. I listen to music while Im stocking and cleaning amazing sound clairity decent bass could be better. Loud little speaker bring the party with you it lights up for a light show while you listen only downside is that the light drains the battery

It’s a decent sounding speaker, but I wish it was a little bit louder. When I bring it in the bathroom I can barely hear it over the shower.

This little speaker has the best sound and can really crank up loud! And the music stays clear even at a high volume. This it’s definitely the best value for the money. I read some articles on the best Bluetooth speakers under $50 and this one was mentioned time after time so I got it and I’m I glad I did!!
