> 3 dayOverall, I think this is a great speaker for the price point. I havent tested it in water yet, but I would feel comfortable taking it kayaking or tubing down the river. The cloth overlay is nice feeling and makes it feel expensive. I also do like the LED function on the bottom of it (if you dont, it can be turned off). Easy to use and connect to, and it connects much farther than anticipated. Our house is old, with thick walls that can sometimes interfere with bluetooth but so far I can be 2 floors down and its still playing crystal clear. And the SOUND. The bass on this is incredible compared to the Amazon speaker I had before. Its so rich and beautiful really. The only thing I dont like is that theres not a next, previous, or pause/play button on the actual speaker. Sometimes I take my speaker with me but not my phone and this non-function can be a pain.

> 3 dayAnker products are typically quality items and this is among them. Sound is crisp and the colors are bright when connected. This is great at the pool, barbequing, or just need another sound device in the house. Bluetooth connecting was simple.

> 3 dayA little disappointed after reading all the glowing reviews. I bought this speaker for $30 on a lightning deal. Anyway I bought this with expectation for a small travel speaker to replace my 5 year old Boombotix Boombot pro which has a tired battery. The speaker is about the size of a soda can. It sounds only slightly fuller and louder than the Boombot which is about half the size of the flare mini. I also compared it MI Bluetooth speaker, and my Earfun Uboom. The Earfun is about 20% larger but blows the Flare Mini out of water with both bass and clarity. The much smaller Mi cant produce nearly the volume of the flare but has a much more natural sound. The problem with Flare Mini is it just has no life to the sound. The high end is so rolled off that it everything sounds a little dead and muffled. Still its a convenient speaker for a shower or hotel room, I may return it in favor of the Tribit Xsound Go which gives up TWS and 360 sound but is truly amazing for its size. Also considering sucking it up and picking up the tiny and amazing for its size Bose Soundlink Pro.

> 3 dayUpdated! Anker saw my original review and reached out to me. I was sent a replacement speaker, and it works phenomenally! Excellent customer service! [ORIGINAL REVIEW] This speaker has amazing sound, an excellent look, and great battery life! I love having this thing along with me, be it at home, work, or just anywhere on the go. My only problem is that when I really want to blast it, it plays at full volume for a little bit (maybe 10 mins) and then there are very noticeable drops in volume. I check my device to see if I accidentally turned down the volume but it is not the case. The only way to re-gain the volume is to restart the speaker. Then it happens again 10 mins later. This is the only problem I have with this product.

07-06-2025I should start by saying that I also have a UE Wonderboom, which has a good sound; no complaints with it really. That being said, the Anker Soundcore Flare Mini produces a much more natural sound, but can keep up in the bass department as well. The Wonderboom is 17 watts, while the Soundcore Flare Mini is rated at 10 watts. I havent experienced any difference in power and volume though. This is a truly fantastic sounding speaker. I have paired it with my Nvidia Shield TV, and can report no audio sync issues. The speaker is also equipped with an entertaining light show. There are various modes, and it can be easily disabled if desired. The fabric covering gives the Soundcore Flare Mini a premium feel, with soft-touch buttons in top of the device for standard controls. The bottom is rubberized, so it doesnt shake itself off of a table while playing loudly. Honestly, I have no reason to buy a 2nd one of these, but likely will. I like it that much. You will too!

Greater than one weekI like this speaking and use it for my workouts however, its not as loud as I was hoping, BUT I really like it turned up when Im working out. For some reason its dying on me a lot however, it could be related to a charging issue, maybe the charger is the problem. Im still trying to figure it out. Ive had the speaker for a while.

> 3 dayI had a larger Flare before this but needed something smaller to carry to the sports bar and use with the Tunity app to hear my college games. Im rather impressed with the sound this puts out for being smaller and batter life seems reasonable - altho I wish the Soundcore app would work with this like the other Flares to know how much battery is left. And the buttons have minimal markings with no backlighting so its especially hard to make out in low lighting which are for volume. What is also kind of annoying is that the Bluetooth button tends to go to stereo mode (white light) mode first and you have to realize to press it again to get a blinking blue light indicating pairing mode.
