> 3 dayThe only thing I dont like is the smallish function buttons on the top are black, the same color as their base so it makes it very hard to see them easily. The app does allow for customized equalizer settings (how many isnt specified) along with some presets. The app also allows the user to customize the colors and to turn the device off, NOT ON (of course), with a battery life scale included. Not bad for the $30.00 I spent, imho.

> 3 dayReally amazing quality for such a small speaker. Nice and sturdy, charges easily, battery life is great, and most important of all the sound is incredible!

> 3 dayGreat sound quality and portability for the price, BUT pairing compatibility between multiple flare minis is very deceptive. I purchased my 1st flare mini in June 2021 and my 2nd flare mini in July 2022. Both are called flare mini, look identical, and were purchased via the same Amazon link. I was unable to pair the 2 together and called Anker for support (Anker support was fantastic, btw). It turns out that the 2022 version is not compatible with the 2021 version and cannot be paired together. This is super frustrating because there is really no indication that the 2022 version is different in any way or wouldnt be compatible with the 2021 version. So learn from my mistake - If you want to pair 2 flare minis, check that they are the same model number or they may not be compatible for pairing.

> 3 dayEdit 4/2022 The speaker has been going down hill for a while now. Only going on 2 years of owning it. I have used it 3x a week while Im at work since I bought it. The charging went down hill first. It started not really holding a charge well or it could be that it isnt charging up like it is supposed to because I noticed that the charging light will shut off. Ive tried multiple cords, so I know it is the speaker. The other issue is that it will randomly shut off while you are listening to it and it has recently gotten pretty bad. Like, 1 or 2 songs will play and then it will shut off. At this point, Im so annoyed about having to restart it so often that I have stopped using it and I am currently shopping for a new speaker. Very disappointing. Overall, it is a good speaker if you just need a temporary one to get you through a little while but it definitely wont be a long term speaker. Original I have had this speaker for a couple of weeks now and I love it. I was iffy about getting it because there was a review about it not not having a play/pause button or a button to skip/backtrack songs, but there actually is. This speaker comes with instructions and they explain these features. There is a d like symbol that does all of those. You click once to play/pause, you click twice to skip, and you click 3x to back track. This speaker gets way louder than I was expecting and it has great base. It pairs easily to the Bluetooth on my phone. It is really simple to use and the battery easily lasts my whole 12hr shift at work. I dont think I could have found a better speaker!

> 3 dayWhen this speaker was a USA Today Reviewed.com best buy at $30. I thought why not? Turned out to be worth at least that. Charged overnight micro USB cable is included. Paired easily with my iPhone. The sound is better than OK, from a mini speaker. And the boppin to the beat light is well the show. No documentation to speak of. Hardly any necessary, but one thing to note. To turn the speaker off, you press and hold the power button until it chimes and powers down. Simply pressing does not do the trick. Nothing tells you that. Just kept trying to turn it off until this happened to work. So the price is right and for a home office streaming from an iPhone, it is worth all of thirty bucks.

> 3 dayJust started using it but so far so good. Good sound, good volume etc. Havent evaluated battery life yet but a friend has one and said lasts a good 8 hours. He also accidently dropped his in a bucket of water and got fully submerged and still working.

08-06-2025So far so good. Sounds great for its size. Not the best bass, but pretty good for its size. I love its size for portability. Sounds good outdoors. 360 sound is pretty awesome. I leave the lights off. Bluetooth connectivity can be spotty if not in the line of sight. Over all very happy with the Flare Mini so far.
