> 3 dayEdit 4/2022 The speaker has been going down hill for a while now. Only going on 2 years of owning it. I have used it 3x a week while Im at work since I bought it. The charging went down hill first. It started not really holding a charge well or it could be that it isnt charging up like it is supposed to because I noticed that the charging light will shut off. Ive tried multiple cords, so I know it is the speaker. The other issue is that it will randomly shut off while you are listening to it and it has recently gotten pretty bad. Like, 1 or 2 songs will play and then it will shut off. At this point, Im so annoyed about having to restart it so often that I have stopped using it and I am currently shopping for a new speaker. Very disappointing. Overall, it is a good speaker if you just need a temporary one to get you through a little while but it definitely wont be a long term speaker. Original I have had this speaker for a couple of weeks now and I love it. I was iffy about getting it because there was a review about it not not having a play/pause button or a button to skip/backtrack songs, but there actually is. This speaker comes with instructions and they explain these features. There is a d like symbol that does all of those. You click once to play/pause, you click twice to skip, and you click 3x to back track. This speaker gets way louder than I was expecting and it has great base. It pairs easily to the Bluetooth on my phone. It is really simple to use and the battery easily lasts my whole 12hr shift at work. I dont think I could have found a better speaker!

> 3 dayThe control buttons are black on black. Without shining a light on the speaker you can not see them unless the unit is on then you can see the power button. The sound is OK for a small speaker but since there arent any controls for treble or bass the sound cant be adjusted except for volume and those controls you cant see. Update: The company contacted me about my review and sent me an upgraded speaker version where the controls can be seen better on the speaker and also has an app where you can customize treble, midrange and bass. I changed my review to 4 stars from 2 stars for their customer service. I can’t give 5 because my comments on the original speaker controls are still the same.

> 3 dayI just love this little speaker. The sound quality is fabulous and it connects very easily to my phone. Battery life is pretty good as well. I could play this for 2-3 days for several hour stretches each before depleting the battery. I love that its waterproof and durable against dust, heat, and cold outside. Ive never needed to turn the volume to the max- I usually put this on level 1 or 2. If I want to stray further away, literally level 4 or 5 is all I need to hear from up to 10 feet away. I take this out while gardening and set it on my wheelbarrow and its good to go. The color light pattern is very fun. I plan on purchasing the new larger version as well to keep out on the patio and purchasing some for gifts for friends.

> 3 dayThe speaker works as advertised, and it seems to be built well, but the sound is noticeably worse than the JBL I have, so Ive mostly stopped using the Soundcore speaker. Music sounds hollow and spoken voices in podcasts are noisier than they should be.

> 3 dayI bought a couple of these a couple of years ago, and love the sound of them. Theyre not going to blow your ears out, but they have plenty of great sound. The ability to sync multiple Soundcore speakers is great for spreading the music around. My newest purchase of these was for my son, who wanted something for his room and to take with him on his travels around with his friends. Excellent speaker!!!

Greater than one weekIve been looking for a waterproof speaker that has decent volume and works well for listening to Audiobooks. I tried 2 other speakers before this one with no success. Both of the other speakers had a major flaw, they would cut off the first word of every sentence when listening to Audiobooks or podcasts rendering them useless for my main purpose. This speaker works great for listening to Audiobooks. The sound is crisp and clear and the volume is loud! I tested it for listening to music and it sounds great! It might not be loud enough for a full blown party, but its close enough. I didnt care for the lights on the speaker, but they can be turned off. I cant speak to the life of the battery yet, but Ive been listening to an audiobook for a few hours after charging and it still going strong.

Greater than one weekI had the Anker soundcore mini and have enjoyed the great sound from the tiny speaker for a couple of years now. When I saw the Soundcore Flare on Amazon for a very reasonable price I decided to give it a try. I was surprised at how good it sounds. I liked it so much that I bought a second one so I could simultaneously pair them with my phone and listen to my tunes in stereo. Its a solidly built speaker that I take to the beach. Highly recommended.
