Greater than one weekThe speaker is excellent. It was a gift for my 70 year old mother and she absolutely loves it. Listens to her music on it everyday. After about a year the speaker would not charge. Customer service was excellent. I told them the problem, they gave me a shipping label, and a week later we had a new one. I also have a flare + and i love it. I hope they continue to make improvements with multiple pairings made available some day. Other than that, great product.

> 3 dayThis unit has pretty decent sound and great battery life. The app controls work great and the ability to control the LED lights is an awesome feature. I got this for the pool area and have no regrets.

> 3 dayGreat sound quality and portability for the price, BUT pairing compatibility between multiple flare minis is very deceptive. I purchased my 1st flare mini in June 2021 and my 2nd flare mini in July 2022. Both are called flare mini, look identical, and were purchased via the same Amazon link. I was unable to pair the 2 together and called Anker for support (Anker support was fantastic, btw). It turns out that the 2022 version is not compatible with the 2021 version and cannot be paired together. This is super frustrating because there is really no indication that the 2022 version is different in any way or wouldnt be compatible with the 2021 version. So learn from my mistake - If you want to pair 2 flare minis, check that they are the same model number or they may not be compatible for pairing.

> 3 dayFantastic speaker with good sound range. Lights around the base can be set to glowing or to flash with the music, or just turned off. My only complaint is the lack of controls. Theres a button for power, volume up, volume down, Bluetooth, and lights, but theres only one button for 4 other functions: play/pause, next track, previous track, and listen. You have to press the button 1, 2, or 3 times, or press and hold it for a stupid long time, for each of those functions respectively. Can be paired with a second speaker as well for better stereo sound.

Greater than one weekI got a $100+ Jambox about 8 years ago and the technological advances since then are just incredible. Now for less than $40 I have a huge upgrade in sound and functionality. I love that this is so flexible - they can be brought into the shower/bath, play outside while gardening or hanging out, and we also set up two in the living room for a formidable surround sound that put much more expensive and huge bulky speakers to shame. No it wont blow out a $500-$1000 set up, but for $80 (for two flares), that is expecting a bit much. This is more than sufficient for all but the snobbiest of audiophiles for 80% of your musical needs. I bought one, and immediate bought another to sync up. Very happy. Thanks to the other reviewers here for the instructions on syncing and navigating playlists. You are the real MVPs in the absence of decent instructions coming with the product.

> 3 dayI researched/read an awful lot about getting a pair of the Mini Flare versus the Flare+. I thought Id start small and, if it was inadequate, I could return them and splurge for the Flare+. (I briefly considered the Flare 2, but stereo was a priority since I want to put one on either side of our hottub...and the Flare 2 is mono.) With the Mini Flare, Ive been very, very satisfied. It has a nice rich bass, sounds good from all angles, and the lights look pretty sweet. The unit itself looks sharp and looks way more expensive than it is. I especially like the stereo sound and couldnt ask for anything more (except maybe a circle of lights on the top like the Flare 2 has...which would look even greater). Im 100% satisfied with my pair of Mini Flares.

Greater than one weekI purchased this little workhorse to use with my musical theater classes. My students rehearse in different locations, and the Mini Soundcore is portable and produces the sound quality I need. The circular speaker means I hear the same volume level and quality as my actors who may be on the opposite end of the room or up on the stage or out in the open. No, it is not a Bose, but for the price I think it delivers more value than what you are spending. Very happy purchase.

> 3 dayWas looking to get my mom a portable Bluetooth speaker for Christmas and ended up getting this one. When it came in I was surprised it was somewhat heavy. I was thinking it was going to be a cheap speaker. Once she opened it and I set it up for her, I was truly amazed by the sound quality. Couldn’t believe the amount of bass coming out of a small speaker like this compared to others I had. She loved it! I ended up ordering the regular Soundcore Flare for myself after reading that it was louder and you could change the light patterns, sound settings through Bluetooth witch this one does not have. After getting the regular one and comparing it to this one I found that the bass is slightly better on this one even though the regular Flare does get louder. If I had known this I would have also gotten this one and not the regular. If you are looking for something small that you can take with you anywhere with great sound quality/price then this speaker is for you!
