> 3 dayI bought the initial speaker and I was impressed with how great and clear it sounded and how good the bass was especially for one this small. Its definitely not a speaker for an entire party but its great to fill your bedroom with your vibe. After reading some of the reviews and about how great 2 of these together I decided to give it a shot and man, I DID NOT REGRET THAT DECISION. I put them on either side of my desk and I put my myself in between them. WOW! The sound it surrounds you with is impeccable no matter the genre. Ive put it on either side of my bed and played really mellow music that only fills your head cause of how surround sound the two end up being. All that for less that 90$. Most high end speakers in the 200-300$ range probably do have way better sound but the fact that itll only fill one side of you home or bedroom would make you rethink about your purchase. If you would spend that money on a speaker since it would make more sense to buy 2 of Soundcores most high end portable speakers since you can connect the two and fill the ENTIRETY of your with much more quality sound that the mini (not that the mini has bad sound, as I mentioned, Its impressive). In the future I might two flare 2s but if youre on a budget and you want that 300$ dollar sound for your bedroom, two of these is the way to go!

> 3 dayI ordered this for a small pool party to be held later this month, so this baby has to perform outdoors in high humidity near a pool and over 15 people talking and laughing. In an empty living room the sound is decent. The tone changes depending upon the surface its resting on: tinnier on the concrete counter, deeper on a teak coffee table. It charged within 2 hours and pairing with my iPhone was simple and quick. As far as the LED light show goes, I dont really care about that. I bought it for the music not the cheap disco vibe. Only two downsides thus far: 1. The directions are a joke. The pamphlet is the size of a matchbook and contains only incomprehensible graphics. 2. It wont turn off, no matter how much I press the on/off button. Ill update post-party.

> 3 dayGreat price, sound quality was very happy until they quit working as they should. After numerous resets and back forth with Soundcore help techs speakers just won’t act as a pair anymore. I have the big Flare+ speakers to, same issue. Eventually they just say we’ve done all we can for you…right. I’m going to throw these away and find speakers that work.

23-11-2024The units are every bit as good as other reviewers have said, but SOUNDCORE needs to rethink their whole European communications paradigm. The manual that comes with the speakers has practically no verbal information only stylized illustrations and icons similar to traffic and public services signage all over Europe. I wound up getting useful instructions for pairing the speakers from the listed questions-and-answers on the product page on Amazon. Once paired successfully, the speakers were brilliant (as the British say) for just over a month. Then one day, they wouldnt pair with my device (a Kindle Fire). Through a system of trial-and-error, I figured out that one of the speakers was not extending its Bluetooth handshake - not even to the other speaker. The manual was useless, the product Q&A didnt mention the problem, and I couldnt find any support online. Finally, I remembered that there is an Amazon 90-day warranty, so I clicked the get support box on my purchase record, and somebody called me within 30 seconds to trouble-shoot the problem. It turns out that if a single speaker is acting up, all you need to do is turn it on, turn on the Bluetooth switch, and then hold down the + key (sound volume) for 15 seconds - and the unit does a reset. Problem solved - thanks to Amazon - and no thanks to SOUNDCORE.

> 3 daySorry for assuming that everything anker sells in 2022 would be usb-c. Steering clear of anything micro USB for a few years now, that includes the mini flare

> 3 dayGreat bang for the buck, long lasting battery, good sound and volume, bass not huge but good enough considering size and price. Stands up well against JBL speakers that cost more.

> 3 dayI didnt realize this was the mini version until I got it home, my own fault for not reading the product description. I have several of the Anker speakers and absolutely love them! The sound quality is incredible, the price is great, waterproof is an excellent feature, and the style is awesome. This one though, does not have the best sound quality. Its smaller so is going to put out less but it doesnt really live up to the standards Im used to with Anker speakers. Still worth it if you dont listen to music with heavy base. But if you are that type of person Id definitely go with the full-sized version or maybe a different Anker speaker altogether.

> 3 dayI like this speaking and use it for my workouts however, its not as loud as I was hoping, BUT I really like it turned up when Im working out. For some reason its dying on me a lot however, it could be related to a charging issue, maybe the charger is the problem. Im still trying to figure it out. Ive had the speaker for a while.
