We bought this to expand our wingspan game. It was fun to have the new birds. They added some new approaches to the game including end of round board bonuses that give you more to think about for strategies. Enjoyable

The original wingspan is such a great game but it definitely gets a bit stale for those who’ve played it a lot. This expansion brings a much needed upgrade with new goals and birds and a changed game board. It’s also has a few flaws that change the game ply pretty drastically (like the new food nectar is wild and allows players to more easily play many more birds). In a way though these perceived flaws are just about changing strategy. And if original wingspan is feeling a bit stale it’s absolutely worth buying Oceania expansion to breathe new life into the game!

I already love the base game, and this adds a bit more strategy to the game and helps freshen things up. New bird powers that help improve player interactions (probably the games biggest weak point) and new bonus point categories help keep its varied and bring me back to it over and over again. Worth getting if you already like the base game.

This has become our go-to game for our family. It does take a while to catch on, but once you do, it is addicting! We also have the expansions which add more dimensions to the game. Our family loves this game.

My family loves Wingspan, and I thought - why would we need to add anything to an already wonderful game? However - we did, and it is literally a game changer! Not only are the new birds lovely and fun to learn about - but the added powers are great. We recently played the original game with friends, who didnt have the expansion pack, and I felt it was really lacking. Im a convert now! The added powers, etc. dont require a re-learning of the game. Like any bird powers - from either deck - it takes playing to figure out which powers work for your strategy. We recently gifted Wingspan to a family member, and bought both the original and European expansion pack - why wait?!?

We love Wingspan and this expansion makes the game that much better. A must buy!
