Wingspan is a great game, and this expansion adds a whole new layer of strategy, and IMO improves the balance of the game.

Adds some complexity but in a good way, love learning about all the new birds!

Our family loves this expansion pack, the new food and boards and cards are well worth the money. I would recommend it! My only recommendation is that you mix the new cards with half the deck of the original game or you may not have as many of the new cards with nectar come up and therefore miss some fun new features. Also, there’s no easy way to separate the cards back out again besides just one by one looking for the tiny emblem in the bottom corner so that’s a little bit of a pain, but in no way enough to sway my preference for this game and expansion.

The nectar is a great addition. The new board offsets the value of eggs so it’s not the main choice for the last two moves.

This expansion is great. It adds a dynamic to the original wingspan game that adds more fun to playing. The new player mat helps speed up game play so you dont feel like you are waiting for food. Definitely worth getting all the expansions for this game but this one adds the most.

If you like Wingspan & play often, I would recommend this expansion. This is our favorite between the expansion options. It adds a couple new components to the game without changing the play too much.

Stonemaier has published this game of the year in 2019. This second expansion add nectar as a food and end of game powers to birds. There are other new powers also. I like this better than the European expansion, but love the entire game. Totally addicted. It is a new game and new strategy every time you play!

Great expansion, just seems to add another level of depth to the game. The nectar speeds up the game too which is nice.
