> 3 dayThis expansion is our favorite, just because of the art work and the very varied birds. The new flightless birds and nectar really add to the experience, and I feel like I learned more from this expansion because of those two components.

> 3 dayMy fiance and I have loved playing the original Wingspan, both in 2 player-setting and with a bigger group. Each game forces players to adopt different strategies, which made it a lot of fun. However, the birds definitely were getting a bit repetitive in terms of their abilities, and there were some abilities that were always ignored as useless. The European Expansion adds a bunch of new birds and abilities, including a new ability type. From the first game we played we could tell the change in the dynamic and strategies that the expansion offered. Must have for any fans of Wingspan!

> 3 dayThe greatest expansion in my opinion! The board provided is much more generous than the original. This allows you to try new strategies and quickly adapt if you’re not pulling ideal birds or food. Final scores are usually much higher due to a higher degree of strategy with “End Game” birds and their powers. Nectar and new bird powers forces you to engage with others more than the original game or Oceania expansions.

> 3 daySome people didn’t like how this pack altered the game play. I think it is improved play. I did, however, choose this one over the Oceania expansion because that one adds a food source, changes the play mats and dice. This one adds a bunch of bird cards, and some round-end goal cards. Some of the new birds carry specific end-of-round bonuses which is new. Amazingly, the game makers are extremely accessible on their website. I posted a question and Jamey (co-owner? I think. My wife photographed him once) answered the post in about two hours! Overall, super fun game. There is a learning curve for sure, but once you get it, it’s super fun. My wife likes that you don’t really know who’s “winning” until you tally scores at the end.
