This is a perfect watercolor journal I love it! I wanted a small but not big either so I can carry it out in my trips. It’s very convenient and the paper is thick and takes a good amount of water or washes. I love that it is hardcover for more protection on the paper and most of all your artwork!

This is a nice sketchbook, great binding and thick cover, but IT DOES NOT LAY FLAT. Therefore, you wont necessarily be able to paint/draw on the back side of pages and in order to draw/paint further into the book, youll need to bend the pages Overall I think its a good, cheap alternative to Moleskine, but if youre looking for a multi-medium sketchbook that will lay flat, I do not recommend this one.

Durable feeling cover with slightly linen color paper. Not bright white, if thats what you want, but nice weight paper.

Love this paper, so far I have had no bleed through. Ive used watercolor, watercolor pencils, sharpie pens, copic markers, tombow markers, Montana paint pens.... So much more but these are the messiest I could think of. Also matte gel, gesso..

I absolutely love this sketchbook! This is my second time purchasing and no regrets! Just be careful with the amount of water you use on these pages bc it is still a cotton cellulose mix. But you can do so much glazing, and add lots of layers before the paper tells you to chill lol. This is great for all watercolor, gouache, pencil and colored pencil! I doodle, watercolor, mixed media, glues, paints, lettering, drawing & all sorts of materials. I love this journal. For those who worry about bleeding through, I glue two pages together OR I use some scrap paper to back it. I bought two of these and will buy more great for all types of uses.

She loved it! it was a perfect to go size for a sketchbook. Great combination with conte, charcoal or pastels.
