Aguanta super bien las acuarelas y la tinta india; permite muy bien el trazado con plumilla (en este caso utilice una g pen). Es de pasta dura y si tiene 32 hojas (pero si las ocupas por detrás obvio tienes 64). Si se ensucia mucho la cubierta pero es algo que no me importa mucho, el tamaño que compre me funciona muy bien, me gusta que sea amplio. Lo voy a probar con gouache y otras tintas, pero creo que va a ser excelente, la hoja se pandea lo normal y resiste muy bien el agua, no se traspasa nada y puedes dibujar detrás de la hoja sin problemas. Estoy muy contenta con mi compra; en el futuro seguramente repetiré, se los recomiendo mucho.

Im using this to make an essential oil reference book. Im just getting started but my watercolor markers blend beautifully on the thick paper.

I use this journal as a little portfolio/record for painting growth since I started gouache painting about two months ago! It does warp on the longer side, but I think its normal since I dont use any binder clips to hold it down. It holds and protects my paint very well. I really like that its bound as a hardcover book because it makes showcasing my paintings as a much more special experience. For those of you who are hesitant about being unable to rip out the pages, you can use an exacto knife and run it along the binding to take out any pages! :) Highly recommend!

Thick, absorbent, smooth paper with low- med tooth, depending upon which side of the page you are using.... Colors pop! I got about 8 layers one on one side and it does not bleed through at all!!! Both sides of the page are usable!!! IMHO, you cannot beat Strathmore quality!
