Paper has decent tooth. Recommend only graphite on this paper. This is not suitable for ink sketch. Hard cover is durable and feels nice under the fingers, like semi-glossy paper, not plastic. 192 pages so if youre trying to do a daily sketch (365) youll want to do front and back. Nice size for popping into a bag on your way out the door. Easy to attach a loop for a pencil.

It doesn’t lay flat that troubles my painting. The paper is off white. Its 100% cotton paper can hold water quite good, and wet in wet technique is ok but not that excellent. Water leaks through to other pages if you paint across left to right page ( I hope I communicate correctly). It’s ok for a beginner like me. However I think I’ll buy another brand for my next watercolor journal.

The quality of the paper Is good. It is hard back and the paper is thick enough for paint and ink.

This is a great, high quality art journal. The pages are strong and durable. There is no bleeding to the back of the pages, even with all the paint, ink and markers I use. I enjoyed altering the cover using mixed media art techniques. I have used and worked on both sides of each page. The pages do get wavy when they are extremely wet but after they dry and the book is closed for a while they tend to flatten down again. I would recommend this journal for anyone who works with a lot of different art supplies and techniques.

No brainer to buy on line. This is exactly what I needed. Could not think of anything that could be different or improved so I gave it 5 stars.

just the right size！ but no rubber band to keep it close. soon as you start painting. its hard to close it nicely. so not good for painting you going to wet the whole page. otherwise its very nice.

Very picky about my drawing books and paper in general. The book is well made, cover is nice and solid. Paper is of good quality for pencil drawings. I dont use water colors or markers, so cannot review as far as that goes.

Really good! I was really worried what if there is any paper damage or cover damaged. However when I saw my sketchbook. It looks so good! Thank you for protecting it. And I definitely will order again.
