> 24 hourNo doubt this light is BRIGHT, its not much brighter than the Protac HL with similar fuel (cr123a). Same great features as the previous model but the extra 300 lumens isnt very noticeable in side to side comparison. STILL AN AWESOME LIGHT but if you wanna save some money and get pretty much the same thing, get the HL model.

> 24 hourLight may be a bit too bright, but to each his own. Gets way to hot if light is on for more than a few minutes and battery life suck. Suggest getting rechargeable batteries. Very durable though. Not worth the money.

> 24 hourI read through all of the negative reviews and I can’t say I’ve experienced any of their complaints. The Hl-x is a great light, very powerful, well made, very functional. I don’t use rechargeable batteries, they just don’t put out the power like a li-ion disposable, they bleed down over time and they’re a pain to deal with. Just get yourself some quality cr123a batteries and call it good. I’ve had my HL-X for about 4 months and have burned through 4 sets of batteries with what I consider adequate run time per battery set. Don’t complain if you’re running it on high and the batteries only last 2hrs, that’s the expected run time. The construction is great, it’s a solid build and solid performer.

> 24 hourI got this flashlight for my husband’s birthday last September. It works great but the batteries don’t even last a day. Not sure if there is something wrong with te flashlight but we only use it for camping. If we put new batteries in the morning, they need to be replaced at night. I’m very confused by the reviews stating great battery life because our flashlight goes through several batteries in one camping weekend which makes it very expensive. The flashlight is great, but needs new batteries way too often.

> 24 hourWorks great . I’ve never had a problem with the dozens of streamlight flashlights that I have except for one. It’s a weapon light 5 years old and I dropped the rifle on a rock and broke the switch/ battery cover. Emailed streamlight and sent them a photo. 3 days later a new cover showed up at my house. You can buy streamlight without worrying they will take care of you if you do run into problems. As a plus streamlight is cheaper than surefire and streamlight doesn’t donate money to anti gun politicians.

> 24 hourSays it is rechargeable. It is not. It comes with two non-rechargeable batteries. However you can buy separately a rechargeable one. The title is very misleading.
