This light would have come in handy during the Blitz of London in 1940. I am sure it would have spotted high-altitude bombers and likely would have ignited lower-flying aircraft. It is an insanely bright, handheld flashlight. Understand that I once used a three-cell Maglite that was about 60 or 70 lumens and thought that I held the power of the sun. This light, which comes in a size similar to the 250-lumen lights of 15 years ago, runs a ridiculous 1,000 lumens. Every time I turn it on, I expect it to have a recoil similar to a large caliber handgun and to make small woodland creatures caught in the beam to burst into flames. I am even impressed by the useable battery life. If you have a need for a handheld light in the 1,000-lumen range, this is your tool.

Nice product

I use it every day as a police officer and it hasnt failed me yet. It has been dropped multiple times and still functions well. I have had a few times where Ive presses the button and it hasnt turned on and then I press again and it strobes but that has been far and few between

I am a night watchman and make my rounds with my favorite light. I love the rechargeable batteries so I always go out on a full charge. I give an area a burst of 1000 lumens to let anyone know I can do that, then look around at 300 lumens. My dream light would be 100 / 300 / 2000 lumens with the bigger battery and ten tap switches I love. Rechargeable with no disassembly. 5000 mAh is better than 2600 mAh of the 18650 and not that much bigger. Yes I would lose interchangeability with the 2 x CR123A but I dont use those anymore so it doesnt matter. You must be developing one now so stop teasing us and release it.

Battery life is weak, best get the rechargeable model

The flashlight was bright, useful with the focus feature and the blacklight. However, the durability and workmanship of the on/off switch makes this product a one star. I continuously have to remove all the parts to place this switch back into operational status... and after a few presses of the button, it stops working again. Rinse and repeat too often. Other flashlights have a better operational switch than this one. When I need it... it fails.
