> 3 dayThis thing is amazing, it almost doesnt seem bright as youd think when you just shine it at the wall. Take it outside while walking around the neighborhood, and it tells a much different story! I have purposely flashed myself in the eyes to see how disorienting it would be and I ended up with a purple spot in my vision for about 10 minutes. The only thing Id change is a TEN TAPS setting for High-Low. Im just not into the strobe setting except for pranks at work, and it gets annoying to have to go through the strobe to get to Low.

> 3 dayNo doubt this light is BRIGHT, its not much brighter than the Protac HL with similar fuel (cr123a). Same great features as the previous model but the extra 300 lumens isnt very noticeable in side to side comparison. STILL AN AWESOME LIGHT but if you wanna save some money and get pretty much the same thing, get the HL model.

Greater than one weekI got this primarily as a replacement for the original ProTac Ive been carrying around for years. I got tired of replacing the CR123 batteries every so often, so I went with this, which takes rechargeable 18650 batteries. Feels weird not having to buy batteries every month. Not gonna go into too much detail, but this thing puts out a serious amount of light which is primarily suitable for long-range illumination. Dont shine this on a sheet of white paper right in front of you or youll effectively be flashbanging yourself. The Ten Tap programming thing is nice for planning out your light mode priorities. The light pill is decent while the main beam is bright as all heck. And all this for less than a hundred bucks.
