Streamlight 88065 ProTac HL-X 1000-Lumen Multi-Fuel Professional Tactical Flashlight, Includes CR123A Lithium Batteries and Holster, Box, Black

bought the 88065 pro tac hl-x. it clearly says it works with 18650 batteries but it does not work with it. only works with the 2 x CR123A batteries. I put my fully charged 18650 batteries into it and the flash light does not light up.

This company sent me a faulty unit and would not RMA.

Excellent carry flashlight. I have 2 weapon mounted ones and 1 handheld and they all function perfectly. Very bright and decent battery life. If youre going to use this every day its worth investing in the rechargeable battery from Streamlight.

This is my third flashlight from them and is by far the best light I’ve owned very bright when you need it but haveing the ability to go to low mode is just great. I use this light every day. Great product as always.

Battery last a day. Literally. And I’m talking, pulling it out for a few traffic stops (10-20) minutes. Another officer told me the end cap might be screwed too tight; draining the batteries. Unscrewed the back to ensure that wouldn’t happen and the batteries (CR123) are dead within a day or two. And the two days you use it, you have to have the tail lightly unscrewed otherwise it won’t even last that long. EXTREMELY disappointed in this light. LEO’s, buy a rechargeable pelican.
