> 3 dayHave used this light for years! Also, as an aircraft mechanic, sold many of these lights to felllow mechanics. Easy to keep in your pocket, you just have to keep up with it, its invaluable to a mechanic in his or hers line of work. So handy day to day, can;t imagine being without one. Very reliable!

> 3 day4 or 5 year owner of this flashlight here, I have probably purchased 6 or 7 of these. MY problem is that it is so small and compact that I always lose it before I can experience any problems with it. I work in commercial maintenance and this thing is as big and heavy as the Sharpe I keep next to it in my front pocket. This light goes with me everywhere because it will provide a big enough spread to hold out in front of you for walking. Also however, If i look at something up close like a lock, duct, or really anything, its bright enough to hurt your eyes if you catch a glare on a shiny metal part. The S clip is for your hat or a pocket. Works super well and people I work with are like whaaa!!!. On that note I have raked in business for streamlight as every guy I work with has bought one. I tell them $15 on Amazon and they look down at their own flashlight in disgust knowing what they paid for theirs. If I had to complain I guess after using it every day I would say: The clip spins on the aluminum and scratches a ring around it. Goes away kinda with normal handling and use There is not much , if any warning the battery is low. It has died on me in ceilings and I wasnt happy. Only this last ones hat clip part has broken. The rest with heavy use have not. Maybe a bad one (it happens) If you on the fence between this and a competitor thats in this size/price/brightness/durability/versatility range You cant go wrong with this. And by the way I dont get anything from streamlight OR Amazon for this. Get at me you two im always looking for sponsors. Reviews always help me and I feel like I should pay it forward. So buy it and move on with your life already. Youre welcome.

> 3 dayIve tried nearly EVERY single-AAA (and similarly sized rechargeables) flashlight out there, and the Microstream AAA is the one that no other can replace. Do not be deterred from the 45 stated lumens. The spot/flood balance is excellent, and while I do not have specific tools to measure lumens, the Microstream gives me better visibility than some other lights that claim 90-100. The pic shows the Reylight Pineapple Mini at 100% at 90 lumens on the left vs. Microstreams 45 on the right (both with fresh lithium batteries). Hard to photograph, but in real life, the Microstream is better to my eye. Take it for what you will! While multiple brightnesses are attractive, theyre generally finicky and Ive never been a fan of lights that have only two brightness options of turbo/burst that has absurdly short runtime, and a low mode that is barely useable (Surefire, Thrunight, and Olight do this a lot). The Microstreams single beam/brightness will let you navigate indoors very well, outdoors well enough, and is not blindingly bright for up-close tasks, with a burntime of a respectable 4-5 hrs with a lithium. All said, the Microstreams do-it-all brightness with one click becomes very appreciated for its simplicity. Gotten a lot of use and beating with no issues so far. Its a flashlight--it makes it so its no longer dark. Keep it simple.

> 3 dayGreat little light! I got this to replace my StylusPro, which has had some issues after many years of daily (ab)use. This is by far my most used flashlight, because it LIVES in my pocket all day. I have many other flashlights (Streamlight, NiteCore, Surefire, & others), but this one is the handiest to keep on my person. Girl specific EDC problem: girl jean pockets suck & you cant fit sh*t in them. I cut a tiny slit for it to drop down past the seam & it stays in place great. I love the clip. I use the hat-clip feature (not sure if thats the official name, but thats what I call it) every night when I go to the barn to lock up critters. It is much handier than a headlamp, because it is always on me ready to be deployed. I have paired it with Eneloop rechargeable batteries, & the battery life is great. I use it daily & usually swap batteries every couple of weeks, even though it isnt completely dead. I havent done a legit time test for battery life, but Im sure someone on the interwebs has for those who need that info. So far, Ive dropped it in mud/crap/puddles, & washed it off with no ill effects, & rolled on it on the ground while working under my truck & it hasnt bent or suffered any damage. Ive been using it for 4 months, & so far, it surpasses my expectations. I would recommend this light to anyone looking for a great little EDC light. I will post again if anything changes, but I give it 5 stars at this stage.

> 3 dayThese MicroStream lights are the best. I thought I had lost my light at the store when I took something else out of my pocket, so I ordered a couple more. A few days later, the lost light turned up in the dryer, which means it also went though the wash. It still worked! What a nice surprise. They are a compact size with plenty of brightness for a single AAA battery at an affordable price, making it perfect for my every day carry.

Greater than one weekI bought 2 of these 6 years ago: One to carry and the other just in case the first one died out (I have a bad (good?) habit of doing that). After 6 years of nearly daily use I have yet to open the second one. I did have the rubber cap that protects the on/off switch come off after about 3 years. But three years of nearly flawless performance for less than $20 is pretty good! I still carry and use the one with the missing rubber protector since I dont plan on going swimming with it any time soon. Now, dont get me wrong, this isnt a camping/outdoors flashlight. It is for EDC and emergency use. But, having said that, it is a really GOOD EDC and emergency use flashlight! -It has a surprisingly bright light that gives usable coverage up to 30 yards away (in my experience). - I probably use this light 3 or 4 times a week for 5-10 minutes each time and I usually only have to replace the batteries every couple of months. (The companys website says lasts 2.25 hours on one AAA battery.) -Its is also small enough that I can keep it in my jeans 5th pocket/coin pocket. Handy when I need it, out of the way when I dont. - It has been dropped several times, been through a couple of washing cycles (before the rubber cap broke off), and was even once run over by a truck (my own). When you look at it you can definitely tell that I have used this flashlight for 6 years, but it still turns on every time I click that button. Besides carrying one myself I have given a few of these as gifts. I will continue to do both.
