> 24 hourI am the plastic wrap whisperer in my house. No matter how screwed up the roll gets, Im always able to get it untangled and rolling in a full sheet. I am happy to give up that position to the Wrap n Snap! I havent had a single issue of tearing or sticking. The best part, I only need 1 hand to get a clean cut on the wrap. Love this thing!

> 24 hourThe dispenser just holds a plastic food wrap (not foil), but cleanly cuts the entire width by simply pressing down on the upper portion of the dispenser. No more half-cut or sticking-onto-itself-while-unraveling wraps! [updated 11/25/2013] The roll just sits cradled in the dispenser, hence it doesnt matter what the rolls size is as long as it physically fits. It works just fine with other brand wraps, like

> 24 hourOk, I would never have guessed that this dispenser could possibly be as good and easy to use as this is. No more tugging plastic wrap against a thin metal strip. You just reach up where the dispenser auto-feeds the wrap and pull out as needed. Tap the top down and it is cut instantly. Far less stretching and clinging to itself. If anyone told me Id pay this much for a great dispense I would have said they are crazy. But after five years of using the great Stretch-Tite wrap from Costco, I found I would use it even more often than using plastic bags IF I had a good dispenser. It is sized only for the large Costco rolls and this is for these rolls that are a little longer tubes than other grocery store brands. Well worth the price! I expect it to last many years.

> 24 hourThe Problem: we buy stretch-tite wrap in the 750 square foot rolls which should last a long time in a two person household that works hard to avoid left overs but this results in the roll far outlasting the box it came in. Consequently much wrap gets wasted because of damaged carton that was a poor design in the first place. The Solution: the Wrap N Snap 7500 Dispenser stores and dispenses the roll. It keeps the roll from wrapping back on itself after cutting, provides three points to grab the wrap and make a clean cut with a press of the lid. Easy to keep clean, has a latching lid and store in about the same space as the cardboard box. Can be wall mounted (I didnt) and the feet are difficult to install--there will be excess rubber you will want to cut out before even trying--youll know what I mean when you get it. The dispenser appears well made and durable but then again that crappy cardboard contraption did not set the bar very high. If it doesnt outlast the roll inside I will update the review and dock some stars. The Experience: over-wrap, under-wrap--it doesnt matter. Click the lid open, pull from the thumb-tabs and roll out what you need. Simple press of the lid cuts the wrap with it clinging to the edge of the dispenser until you pull it off. Easy to cover a plate or bowl. Equally easy to underwrap for a wellington or marinating loin. Minimal effort. Minimal waste. Maximum utility. P.S. I did not receive this product free or at a reduced price. I dont even know how you go about doing that.

> 24 hourMaybe its just me but I have to work too hard to make it work. I saw a famous TV chef use it & it looked so easy but not sturdy or easy to keep in place then one must pull out the sheet of film then give the top a little slam (I tried a soft close of the top but that didnt work for me) to cut the film. I keep using it because it was a little pricey and I keep thinking its just me.

> 24 hourThis makes using saran wrap so much easier! I wish I would have had this years ago! Much less problem with the saran wrap sticking together, actually it rarely does with this. I can not stress how great this is!!!

> 24 hourNearly perfectly. Heres how it works. You lift the lid and trigger two buttons, one on each end. That frees the insert. You insert your roll of plastic wrap and pull the loose end out and back over the lid. Replace the insert. Now, the tail end of the plastic is running between two pieces of plastic. Those pieces have three curved cutouts at both ends and the middle. This allows you, after cutting, to pull the end out to the desired length. To cut, bring the lid down all the way. It doesnt feel like much happened, but when you let the lid up, the plastic is cut cleanly. The new roll end is again caught between the plastic pieces and ready for you to pull another. If you were to pick the loaded dispenser up and shake it, its possible to bounce the roll around enough to pull the end back into the body of the machine, in which case, you just open the insert and reload. No big deal. Im kind of stunned. I really didnt expect this kind of slick operation. If it matters, I have been using 100-foot Saran wrap in it. I see no reason for it to work any differently with other brands. The lid that you lift to grab the roll end sits about halfway ajar, but there is a simple one-hand twist latch that can hold it closed to keep it from crumb-catching if you like. I feels substantial and well made and will likely last long enough to be well worth the price. As related in other reviews, it probably wont take very large rolls. It comes with some soft rubber shoes, one for each side, that gives it considerable traction on a counter. But on my slick stainless counter or on top of my no-fingerprint enameled bread box, its barely heavy enough to sit still reliably when you pull a length. Thats not really too big a deal. It pretty well takes two hands, one to pull and one to push the lid down to cut, so you have a hand on the dispenser anyway. Im going to rig mine with a sheet magnet glued to the bottom to stick to my steel counter or steel breadbox. Of course, no problem if its attached with screws. The instructions specifically say that it wont work with foil. I suspect, though, that it may well work with parchment or wax paper. I bake all our bread, and I frequently need to pull a foot of wrap to cover a bowl during proofing. I intensely dislike fiddling with a plastic wrap box and the inadequate cutting edge provided. Plus, the box falls apart before I finish the roll. No more of that. As I said, IT WORKS!

> 24 hourMine doe sent close without a lot of pressure, as my old one was muck easier. I’m afraid of putting too much pressure the closer will snap off. Like the previous one I returned it he top doe sent quite line up correctly. I hope it bets easier after being used frequently.
