I am the plastic wrap whisperer in my house. No matter how screwed up the roll gets, Im always able to get it untangled and rolling in a full sheet. I am happy to give up that position to the Wrap n Snap! I havent had a single issue of tearing or sticking. The best part, I only need 1 hand to get a clean cut on the wrap. Love this thing!

This product was one of three things that Ina Garten considered a must have and I agree!!! I purchased the cling wrap from Costco to go in it. It works PERFECTLY!!!

The extra thickness helps with covering your bowls. This product is superior to others. After using for a couple of months, this is the only one I will use.

Maybe its just me but I have to work too hard to make it work. I saw a famous TV chef use it & it looked so easy but not sturdy or easy to keep in place then one must pull out the sheet of film then give the top a little slam (I tried a soft close of the top but that didnt work for me) to cut the film. I keep using it because it was a little pricey and I keep thinking its just me.

I really expected this to take up way too much space and just be a waste of plastic, but I changed my mind. It really works very well. It is too big to fit in the drawer with my aluminum foil, etc., but the top of the refrigerator is actually a really handy spot. Frankly, we got lazy about properly wrapping our food before, because it was just such a chore to get the box out, deal with how poorly it cut, and so on. But now its so easy to pull this dispenser down that all our unused food is still fresh the next day, making less food waste. Just make sure youve got the plastic wrap going over the roller and between the two guides (which have nice little scallops cut out for grabbing the sheet).

I use plastic wrap a lot, and after having cut my hands numerous times over the Christmas holiday, I thought there must be a dispenser of some sort out there... I took a risk and bought the Stretch Tite, hoping it would work well. I was so surprised - it exceeded my expectations! It is so easy to use, and hands/fingers dont come anywhere near the blades. Grasping the plastic wrap is also not an issue. It doesnt retract in any way into the unit (which I was worried about). It readily pulls out. Cutting the wrap also surprised me - in a good way! Just a nice solid (gentle) push down on the unit quietly slices the wrap. I also thought I might be tied into buying Stretch-Tite rolls of wrap, but found it works well with any brand. But after using Any Brand up, I discovered that my local grocery store carries Stretch-Tite wrap, which does work better than any brand. I am sold on this product and highly recommend it.

Have you ever prepped a whole chicken for your air fryer, grill, rotisserie or oven? You take extra care in hygiene...you take special steps when cutting off the extra fat, drying the chicken with your favorite paper towels, salting the entire chicken with kosher salt (including the cavity) filling the cavity with your favorite herbs, garlic, lemon, rosemary, etc...then its time to wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate before adding your olive oil and favorite rubs; but, unfortunately, your plastic wrap doesnt have your gourmet expertise. It fights you (even though your gloved hands have followed all the rules). It is so unsanitary to have to touch its nasty, little box and struggle to find the amount you need to cover your masterpiece. Voila, along comes this amazing plastic wrap dispenser with the perfect solution to your problem. Pull, wrap once...pull, wrap twice and put your masterpiece in the frig to rest or allow you time for a nap! It keeps that jewel of a bird free from any odors (onions, leftovers, your prize-winning kimchi) and rests to await your favorite method of cooking that amazing meal. I recommend this amazing dispenser with no hesitation.

Its easy to use and takes care of the totally useless stupid box that Stretch-Tite plastic wrap comes in. If Saran Wrap could make a box you could actually use why cant Stretch-Tite? Saw this item in a video by Ina Garten and am so glad I have it.

Nearly perfectly. Heres how it works. You lift the lid and trigger two buttons, one on each end. That frees the insert. You insert your roll of plastic wrap and pull the loose end out and back over the lid. Replace the insert. Now, the tail end of the plastic is running between two pieces of plastic. Those pieces have three curved cutouts at both ends and the middle. This allows you, after cutting, to pull the end out to the desired length. To cut, bring the lid down all the way. It doesnt feel like much happened, but when you let the lid up, the plastic is cut cleanly. The new roll end is again caught between the plastic pieces and ready for you to pull another. If you were to pick the loaded dispenser up and shake it, its possible to bounce the roll around enough to pull the end back into the body of the machine, in which case, you just open the insert and reload. No big deal. Im kind of stunned. I really didnt expect this kind of slick operation. If it matters, I have been using 100-foot Saran wrap in it. I see no reason for it to work any differently with other brands. The lid that you lift to grab the roll end sits about halfway ajar, but there is a simple one-hand twist latch that can hold it closed to keep it from crumb-catching if you like. I feels substantial and well made and will likely last long enough to be well worth the price. As related in other reviews, it probably wont take very large rolls. It comes with some soft rubber shoes, one for each side, that gives it considerable traction on a counter. But on my slick stainless counter or on top of my no-fingerprint enameled bread box, its barely heavy enough to sit still reliably when you pull a length. Thats not really too big a deal. It pretty well takes two hands, one to pull and one to push the lid down to cut, so you have a hand on the dispenser anyway. Im going to rig mine with a sheet magnet glued to the bottom to stick to my steel counter or steel breadbox. Of course, no problem if its attached with screws. The instructions specifically say that it wont work with foil. I suspect, though, that it may well work with parchment or wax paper. I bake all our bread, and I frequently need to pull a foot of wrap to cover a bowl during proofing. I intensely dislike fiddling with a plastic wrap box and the inadequate cutting edge provided. Plus, the box falls apart before I finish the roll. No more of that. As I said, IT WORKS!
