> 3 dayI grew tired of the cardboard box for the plastic wrap wearing out or wearing down halfway through the roll. We buy the two-packs at Costco, which is a great value. The cost of this container is really high, surprisingly enough, but my frustration with torn boxes and taping them up was also high. The box is sturdy and works great; the cutter is terrific. But, you need to include the little feet which makes it too big to then fit in the cabinet rack ... so we have to leave it on the counter. Its functional but certainly not attractive. And even if you can stow it away, the weight of the container and the roll of wrap makes it unwieldy to use in the same way you would the cardboard box. Bottom line, I like it for its function, dont think its worth the money being charged, and think the design could have been better.

11-06-2025Sadly I was not happy with this product. I got it because our wrapmaster plastic wrap dispenser had gotten dropped and no longer functioned right. And the Wrapmaster is only occasionally available and I had loved it so much I didnt want to be without. This had pretty good reviews so I thought I would try it. First it is unstable on the counter. Every time I would press the lid down to cut the wrap, the whole thing would tip, or even slam down on its side. Maybe if it is mounted on the wall this wouldnt be an issue, but it was darned annoying for me. Second, I got the stretch title brand plastic wrap and it was too clingy. It would stick to the top part, which is where the blade making it dangerous in my opinion. My husband did cut himself trying to get an edge of the wrap dislodged from the blade edge so that he could cut a section off. I finally decided to see if the wax paper dispenser I had from WrapMaster would work with plastic wrap and YEAH! it did. So this is going to Goodwill. I suppose if you had never experienced the joy of effortless plastic wrap usage that I found with my WrapMaster, this would seem a step up from the frustration of the boxes inadequate serrated edge.

> 3 dayI also have bought this as gifts and everyone uses and likes it. Mine has moved with me from one home to another and another and if it were to disappear Id immediately get another one. So today I bought another one as a gift for a foodie that I work with. If you follow the instructions - pull the wrap out and over the container that will be covered, this works well. But if you just pull it off and plan to carry it to the bowl, it wont work. Then you might as well use the tear-off on the box that the wrap comes in. So the trick is to read the instructions and use it that way. There is a separate one for aluminum foil which I also have an also like. In fact, I use that more often as I use foil more often. That is called Wrap Master Foil. Later - Well, it looks like theres no longer a separate one for foil. I checked out the companys web site and it says that theyre out of stock but I think this is permanent. It looks like you can use the plastic wrap type for foil, too. I just checked the two out as I have both and the blades look the same.

Greater than one weekMy first one lasted about 10 yrs. Easiest way to use plastic wrap. Don’t think this one is made as good but still easiest way to use plastic wrap!

> 3 dayWorks great. My only complaint is the wrap they make is only 11.63 wide. The machine will work with 12 but stretch tight only makes 11.63 wide for it
