> 3 dayOne of the best things Ive purchased! You avoid waste (of plastic wrap) by putting your plate or container right to the dispenser wall, pull out the plastic wrap to the edge of the opposite side of your plate or container, flip down dispensers lid to cut the plastic wrap, and the plastic covers your plate without folds and fidgeting on your part to straighten the folds, then you just tuck in the plastic around the sides of your plate. Prior to owning this, I could not imagine whats the big deal! Why would I need a dispenser when the plastic wrap comes with its own zipper-like cutting edge. Well, the first time I used it, I knew right away the convenience! You really dont want to be fidgeting with plastic wrap; you want a straightforward, clean, easy process. You hardly handle the plastic wrap because it just folds down on your plate or container and all you have to do is tuck it in. Its so worth the price and the premium real estate it occupies on the kitchen counter! I also like the quality and weight of the Stretch-lite plastic wrap itself and how much of it is in there that you wont have to reload until maybe a year or two.

> 3 dayMaybe its just me but I have to work too hard to make it work. I saw a famous TV chef use it & it looked so easy but not sturdy or easy to keep in place then one must pull out the sheet of film then give the top a little slam (I tried a soft close of the top but that didnt work for me) to cut the film. I keep using it because it was a little pricey and I keep thinking its just me.

> 3 dayI grew tired of the cardboard box for the plastic wrap wearing out or wearing down halfway through the roll. We buy the two-packs at Costco, which is a great value. The cost of this container is really high, surprisingly enough, but my frustration with torn boxes and taping them up was also high. The box is sturdy and works great; the cutter is terrific. But, you need to include the little feet which makes it too big to then fit in the cabinet rack ... so we have to leave it on the counter. Its functional but certainly not attractive. And even if you can stow it away, the weight of the container and the roll of wrap makes it unwieldy to use in the same way you would the cardboard box. Bottom line, I like it for its function, dont think its worth the money being charged, and think the design could have been better.

> 3 dayThis dispenser makes it easy to use plastic wrap. One of the best kitchen products ever. The only downside is that the cover lock broke after years of use.

> 3 dayI got this for my gf who is a chef. It was a huge pet peeve of hers to have plastic wrap that didn’t constantly get stuck or bound upon itself and just worked. Simple enough request this manufacturer seems to have finally solved. She loves it. Thanks

> 3 dayI did not get paid or receive anything for this review. I personally purchased and paid for this item from amazon.com (verified purchase). Unfortunately these units are not available in any Canadian Retail outlet and I encourage every Canadian to purchase one of these excellent plastic wrap dispensers along with the Stretch Tite 750 rolls of plastic wrap. You simply place what your going to wrap on the counter in front of the dispenser , flip the unique latch to open the dispenser , pull out the required length required and push down gently on the top and it cuts it off cleanly with zero effort involved. The plastic wraps remains perfectly flat to cover the item and the Stretch Tite plastic wrap clings like glue to everything. Gently close the lid and secure it closed with the latch and the dispenser sits on the counter looking absolutely beautiful 24/7. I recommend this quality product to all and I hope you enjoyed my review and it was helpful.

> 3 dayWe have been using Stretch-tite for a long time as it is so very superior to the other wraps out there in adherence to most surfaces. And when you can buy this dispenser, it makes it even better. Rolls out and snap slices. No more struggling with the paper boxes and sharp aluminum serrated edges. Not to say this dispenser is not sharp. It truly is and you still must use caution putting in the roll of plastic wrap. We used to be able to get them direct from Stretch-tite for $25 and a small shipping fee. Now they want an exhorbitant shipping fee, so we bought using Prime on Amazon. Still more expensive at $35, which we though was excessive, but ours broke after several years of good use, and we did not want to go without it. That is why the low rating on value.

Greater than one weekSeriously, didnt think much at first (device is a bit pricey), but in many ways, dropping a roll of plastic wrap in it and then using it, my normal frustrations with plastic wrap are definitely lessened. I now am wasting less wrap overall (which is a good thing, since its not a smashed up tangled mess from the cardboard). I keep this at hand, always because I measurecout all ingredients first before doing recipe anyways. And this works well for outdoor picnic or patio meals too

Greater than one weekNice & heavy. It also fits into the kitchen drawer but I had to lay it down sideways to have it fit. To fill you only need to drop your roll of plastic wrap into the cradle. Just drop in your roll, close the lid & you are done. Pretty good product. I currently have a roll of Glad Cling Wrap 200 and it works fine. I do have a roll of Stretch-tite Wrap but I havent opened that one yet, so the Glad Cling Wrap works just as well. I really dont think it matters which style of wrap you use. How would the product know you are using the *wrong* wrap? As long as it doesnt go over 200 I dont believe there would be an issue. Now we need more dispensers that will work as easily for wax paper & foil. They used to sell a trio of cutters - plastic wrap, foil & wax paper at QVC but I believe they no longer carry them. Oh well, thisll do. Thisll do just fine. I have read on other sites that if you inadvertently use foil in this product, it will dull the cutting blade. Dont see why though since I sharpen my scissors by cutting through layers of foil. How the foil would *dull* the cutting blade is beyond me but I will use it for now only for plastic wrap. Fair price for a good product. So far. Any problems I may have in the future I will be sure to update this review. Have a good day.
