Greater than one weekI’ll admit, the price of this thing is hard to swallow. But after owning it for ~4 months, I can easily say it’s worth every penny. I no longer end up with tangles of plastic wrap. This makes it so so easy to cut and wrap whatever I need to. Buy it! It makes plastic wrap so much easier!

> 3 dayI just received mine, I tried a roll of glad plastic wrap that my wife bought at the local store and it worked with no issues. The roll was 300 ft and works great. I also tried some wax paper that wasn’t from the company that sells this product. Just make sure that the roll only 12 inches long and under 750 feet. It didn’t matter what brand I used it works, as long as I stayed with in the dimensions. This product isn’t like other products it doesn’t have guides that goes into the end of the role. I Just drops roll into the compartment and thread plastic wrap through and it works as it should.

> 3 dayHave you ever prepped a whole chicken for your air fryer, grill, rotisserie or oven? You take extra care in hygiene...you take special steps when cutting off the extra fat, drying the chicken with your favorite paper towels, salting the entire chicken with kosher salt (including the cavity) filling the cavity with your favorite herbs, garlic, lemon, rosemary, etc...then its time to wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate before adding your olive oil and favorite rubs; but, unfortunately, your plastic wrap doesnt have your gourmet expertise. It fights you (even though your gloved hands have followed all the rules). It is so unsanitary to have to touch its nasty, little box and struggle to find the amount you need to cover your masterpiece. Voila, along comes this amazing plastic wrap dispenser with the perfect solution to your problem. Pull, wrap once...pull, wrap twice and put your masterpiece in the frig to rest or allow you time for a nap! It keeps that jewel of a bird free from any odors (onions, leftovers, your prize-winning kimchi) and rests to await your favorite method of cooking that amazing meal. I recommend this amazing dispenser with no hesitation.

11-06-2025All in all I am very happy with my purchase. In general, the dispenser certainly looks better than the cardboard box/dispenser that the plastic comes in, the cardboard box never stayed put when the wrap was pulled out and the end of the plastic was always falling back into the box. The dumb task of fishing out the end of the wrap finally made me decide to find a dispenser that was easier and cleaner to use. I debated for a time between this product and the Kenkut 3

> 3 dayI grew tired of the cardboard box for the plastic wrap wearing out or wearing down halfway through the roll. We buy the two-packs at Costco, which is a great value. The cost of this container is really high, surprisingly enough, but my frustration with torn boxes and taping them up was also high. The box is sturdy and works great; the cutter is terrific. But, you need to include the little feet which makes it too big to then fit in the cabinet rack ... so we have to leave it on the counter. Its functional but certainly not attractive. And even if you can stow it away, the weight of the container and the roll of wrap makes it unwieldy to use in the same way you would the cardboard box. Bottom line, I like it for its function, dont think its worth the money being charged, and think the design could have been better.

> 3 dayThis product is the same as one we bought several years ago; however, this one does not operate as smoothly as the first one. It does not cut the film as smoothly as our previous one. This may just be a one-off issue.

> 3 dayIt works like one would expect. You just drop in the roll of plastic wrap. It threads very easily. When you need the wrap, release the lid; pull the plastic wrap; shut the lid and push the lid down like a stapler; the wrap is cut very cleanly. You dont have to pull up and out. You just pull out horizontally. The dispenser has wide feet to make it stable. The wrap doesnt cling to the inner surfaces. Why cant everything be designed this well? Now, lets see how long it lasts. I have not tried this with aluminum foil yet. I dont use foil that much. It might be worth it for parchment paper.

> 3 dayThe most despised job in the kitchen for me was dispensing a piece of plastic wrap. No longer. First, since switching to Stretch-Tite I find it much more manageable than the no-name brands and better even than Saran Warp, my previous favorite. The dispenser is designed to leave on the counter, the feet that it has are good grippers and it stays put and does not move when pulling out a piece of wrap. Since its on the counter, you can place the bowl or whatever you want to wrap on the counter right in front of the dispenser. That gives you two free hands to deal with the wrap. The wrap is easy to grab, there is a little platform inside the actually lifts the end of the wrap up and hands it to you. So no trying to peel it off the roll. Once you stretch the wrap out over your target you press down on the cover of the dispenser and the internal guillotine blade cuts it off cleanly. Then you seal the wrap over your bowl. The lid of the dispenser pops back up and you are ready to pull another piece. The lid has a little latch so you can close the dispenser between uses if and open dispenser offends your sense of order. I am not pretending that using plastic wrap will be a pleasure, but this has solved all my largest complaints with the dispensing of it. If you want to try it, order it from Amazon and if it doesnt work for you, they have the best return policy on earth. You cant lose. I gave it 4 stars because its still plastic wrap and I still love/hate it.

07-06-2025Works great. Saves me a lot of money on zip loc bags. I bake a lot of bread. When the loaves are large, I make large sandwiches. Regular baggies are never large enough, and many times not even quart size bags are enough. I have put sandwiches in gallon bags before, but thats wasteful, and embarassing. Using plastic wrap instead is ideal. I had a 750 sq ft roll plastic wrap I bought at Wal-Mart. The rolling cutter was so horrible (even when it was kept free of residue) that it was very frustrating to use the wrap. I got the Wrap n Snap dispenser based on the reviews and am so glad I did. It is a pleasure to use. Always chops the wrap in a straight line, never fails, and no frustration. The walmart roll had over an inch of tube sticking out either end and I had to trim off a good bit on either end (with a bread knife) and it worked fine, but from now on I will buy the Stretch-tite rolls at Costco.
