> 3 dayGot a late start for a hike in the desert in August. Pulled this bad boy out and made a massive difference. Nestled it in my backpack strap for hands free. Open diameter is not as big as your typical golf umbrella but that was good for not getting caught on trees and scrubs. Almost every person I passed made a comment about how it was a good idea or how they wished they had brought an umbrella. Packs down small. Short length bottom to top which makes it easier for young kids to use.

Greater than one weekI ordered this for traveling and it seems to provide adequate sun protection. However, it appears a little flimsy. Wished it was built stronger. I haven’t had a chance to see how it would handle a gust of wind but from the looks of how this is built I’m not very positive.

> 3 dayI tried researching to find a UV umbrella that was decently durable and came across this one with the best reviews. I purchased exclusively for afternoon soccer games and it has saved me from some pretty hot days! Im Irish and very pale so living in florida provides me with a subtly pink complexion all year round which of course is not desirable. Ive been needing a UV umbrella for a while and finally decided it was time since my son started soccer this year. Its not huge but not small and the perfect size for sitting on the sidelines next to and in front of several people. It doesnt hit anyone next to me and provides me with the shade I need to protect my skin. I will say that the last game there was a few wind gusts and everyone called me Mary Poppins because the umbrella blew inside out a couple times but did not break or malfunction and I was able to pop it back the correct way. I have not used it while raining so I cant attest to its ability there but I would only use this to block sun. Overall a great and necessary buy.

> 3 daySo you have to press the button to open this thing, there’s no way to inch it up. So this is my problem, when I press the button it sometimes goes into “spider mode” which is to say that the top is not completely fanned out. If you move the umbrella up & down it looks like spider legs wafting about. So then I have to push the button again to close the spider, and bring it down with my hands. Then I can only open it by pressing the button. Honestly I have no idea if I have a defective product or if I just lack the magic touch. So I beg and plead with spidee and hope that when I press the button it will be like magic..eventually it is and then I’m good to go.

> 3 dayThe umbrella is flimsy and wabbles around the handle part almost like it’ll fall off soon. It’s also really difficult to close, I needed both hands and it was still hard. The coverage part was really great, it’s just built poorly and not very efficient. I will be returning it.

> 3 dayI like the umbrella, it process me from the sun and I love that. The only thing is, that, you have to have a strong hold when its windy or it will fly away. Otherwise is perfect.

> 3 dayThe sun protection works pretty goo. This was used during an outdoor festival. It was open and closed several times. Sadly it eventually broke, it wont close properly. Also, the heat caused the black dye in the handle to start dissolving and ended up in our hands. Very disappointing first day use.
